Kate Hudson ditched her blue dress for a more comfortable pantsuit after the premiere of Fool's Gold in LA last night, but kept on her pretty and dramatic eye makeup for the party. She and Matthew were showing off that friendly flirtation we love so much, but he was more into opening up about how much he's enjoying his relationship with Camila and their little baby already. He said,
"I am a happy man, thank you. Already, even with Camila just being pregnant now, the parenthood is begun. There is already a slight shift in the thoughts, the way I think about the future, and it has more of a 'we' to it instead of just a 'me.' That feels good, it's fine, and it hasn't really changed my point of view. It's just encompassed a little more quality."
In fact, MM says he is so happy with his current situation that he and Camila have no plans for marriage right now. Guess Matthew's mom has her work cut out for her.

1Coffy, delusional? really? I think what Matt has expressed is a natural step when you find out you and your partner are pregnant. Now granted that "thought" comes from a person who, despite being married to a man I've been with for near 10 years, still doesn't want kids (neither does my husbanhd) but I think it still stands.
I think Matt & Kate have a great friendship - it definitely come across on screen.

8It still irks me that no one ever gets married anymore? Since when is dreaming of and planning and being super excited about a wedding and marriage old-fashioned?!? To most of my friends, it's pretty much the "ultimate goal", lol. And personally, I believe having parents that are not married to each other can really affect the kid (trust issues, values, etc). I guess Hollywood is just... different (obviously).

Marriage doesn't equal happiness or good parenting. I'm glad Matthew and Camila are doing what they feel is right for their relationship, and for their unborn baby.
