I agree, pink. I think Jessica Simpson is a very talented singer...at one point I think she was persuaded to change her style to something more light and airy. She actually has a more "powerhouse" voice. I actually remember that episode of Newlyweds when the producers told her NOT to sing so strong...BOOO!!!

Acting really isn't her forte, but she's a darn GREAT singer!!!

I agree with Amesabelle. She hasn't really done anything, except try a lot of different things and not be so good at all of them. I give her props for being herself and trying. And anyway, whose standards are we measuring her by? does she have to win a grammy to be a successful singer, or an oscar to be an actress? She's done a lot, and seems to be having fun with her life, and loving (if not strange) family, and a love life. she's doing just great!

she is intelligent, you'd have to be intelligent though to understand that when she does act dumb its an act. She made straight A's in high school (People Mag published a copy of her grades 6 yrs ago to dispute some that said she wasn't smart) and it's reported that her IQ is 160 and Ashley's is 169.

And why does she have a Dallas cowboys hat on? She is a born and bred Texan. In case you didn't know, 99% of the people from Texas are DALLAS COWBOY FANS. Not to mention her boyfriend is the quarter back...Your non-thinking mode is showing.

She sings beautifully. Have you ever heard her sing with no music????? I can't believe you would ask "WHY IS SHE SMILING HER TIME IS UP" So what should she do, go hide and never smile again? no that comment wasn't a "need be", but her comment was just rude and downright..well, not thinking. Jessica has been a Cowboys fan since she was in diapers, hence the photo of her wearing a mini dallas cowboys cheerleading outfit when she was a baby. FOr that person to think she was just bragging about who her boyfriend was, is ridiculous. Jessica is not a Britney Spears or Paris Hilton. She doesn't go out of her way to hurt anyone like they do. I just don't get all the hate for someone who has done nothing to anyone. I've never been a fan of Jessica's voice Xena, sure she obviously deserved the fame that she got, but personally I find other voices to be easier on my ears, have you ever heard the duet she sang with Nick" Baby it's cold outside" made my ears BLEED. She's not a bad singer by any means but her voice is an aquired taste like anyone else's.

with that argument about "not doing anything to anybody" we wouldn't be able to say anything negative about the majority of celebs on here,we have no idea what they are really like( unless we know themn personally) and most celebs haven't harmed any of us or anyone else for that matter. Most celebs that get commented on here aren't harming anyone but they still are up for debate on a site like this so getting upset b/c someone doesn't like your favoritist celeb isn't worth the time it takes to post a response. Barely anyone likes fergie on here, and I like her, but if I went to every negative post about her to defend her honor I'd be wasting my time.I try to respect the differences in opinion here.
