The annual Vienna Opera Ball took place in, where else, Vienna, Austria last night bringing out its usual bit of glitz and glamor. As is tradition, the businessman Richard Lugner chose himself a date to the big event and this year it was Dita Von Teese who was on his arm. A bit of a different choice than his date last year, Paris Hilton, who got into a little trouble when she looked super bored at the event. Of course Dita presented herself as perfect and statuesque for the event. Even Teri Hatcher looked good (and tall) out for the big ball. Past guests of Mr. Lugner other than Paris include Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson — somehow Dita seems a little too demure and classy to be in that group, but hey, she fits right in on the red carpet here.

15Dita is most certainly a fashionista, and does it effortlessly. Whereas someone like Katie Holmes is not, and always looks like she just tries too hard.

18I love it that she could be associated with porn yet still carry herself in a way that she gets stamped classy. I actually met her 10 years ago and she was every bit a lady. I think Dita is great.
19nyaradzom2001, burlesque is not trashy. She's not a stripper. Dita Von Teese looks better than all of those women because she is FAR from being a wh*re or whatever you seem to associate "burlesque" with.
