Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton faced off at the Kodak Theater in LA last night at the final Democratic debate before Super Tuesday and some of Hollywood's most famous faces were front and center. Leonardo DiCaprio looked deep in thought deciding between the two Democratic candidates left in the race while Pierce Brosnan and Christina Applegate were happy to pose on the red (blue) carpet. Yes, you read that correctly, there was a red carpet at the debate. Quentin Tarantino and Kerry Washington engaged in a little post-debate schmoozing, no doubt discussing all the issues of the evening. Were you watching last night? The two candidates kept things remarkably civil, I definitely enjoyed watching. Check out Citizen's morning after thoughts on the debate and let us know what you thought of Hillary and Barack.

VOTE FOR HILLARY
1Blech! Hillary! Vote for ANYONE else!
2Oh goodie because political celebrities are my FAVORITE
Also its completely appropriate that the "most famous faces were front and center" and that they had a red carpet
LAME
3man..i missed it
4at least they kept it civilized. i think it's going to be hillary pres with obama as vice pres running against mc cain..anyone else think hillary and obama will pair up?
5Oh the celebrocrats. :rik:
6oops. I meant
7I believe the pecking order of a Clinton/Obama ticket depends on how many primaries and electoral votes are gained by each candidate. Is it out of the question, no. But they both may have other Vice Presidents in mind.
8Celebrocrats! I love that. Thank you laura!
9And George Clooney is somewhere upset he missed this.
10You're welcome j2e1n9.
11I was in attendance for this. It was very very cool.
12I have to agree with you J2e1n9 - LAME!!! Leo looks like he is posing for the cover of Vanity Fair.
I'm more excited about a Obama/Edwards ticket anyday over a Obama/Clinton ticket!!!
13can Pierce Brosnan vote in the US?
14leo is supporting who? i don't think he has said anyone yet. i remember in '04 it was kerry, but i think he would support the democratic nominee either way.
15celebrocrats...love it!
i dont care much for leo...but he does look quite hot in these pics....
16I always hate it when I see these types of things. Makes me feel like I can't love Leo anymore. Torn between politics and love...
I just can't love someone who supports the two of them. ESPECIALLY HILLARY BOOOOO!
Huckabee For President WHOOO
17I find it kind of disturbing that they actually had a red carpet ...
18Oh I'm so heartbroken
Leo's a democrat!
19There is no way I'd vote another Clinton into office! Could you imagine who the other Clinton would sleep with next?!
20Why must there be a red carpet for everything???? I'm so over hollywood. They need a red carpet to pee
21You didnt know Leo was a Dem, He practically Wh*red himself out for Gore.
I cant stand the celebrocrats, just like i cringe when they shill for the Pubs. I really honestly dont want to see thier pretty faces talking about politics. just shut up and make movies.
22
to nina_e and capterpillargirl
23im with you badkitty VOTE FOR HILLARY
24Very cool.
Go Hillary.
25OBAMA '08 !
26I watched this last night, I thought Barack and Hilary both did a great job. It was nice that they kept it civilized, but my vote is still going to Obama.
27Yeah, Grizz! Go Huckabee!! And puh-leeze, if not him, anybody but Hillary! Booo!
28Honestly, seeing as Bill Clinton won't be the president why would you even care who he sleeps with? That's their business...not ours.
29I am voting for Hillary. I loved the debate last night and I think they both did a great job. I just believe Hillary has more experience.
30Hurricane: More experience? She sat back in the White House while her husband made a fool of her? That's not experience.
Caterpillargirl: You are my new favorite person. I hate the celebrocrats. Most of them don't even have the equivalent of a high school education. What do they care about their money, they make millions and don't have to struggle like the rest of us. It's sad that these people have such an influence over these empty headed morons that will vote for whoever their faaave actor is endorsing.
31Everyone needs to think for themselves.
Vote Romney!!!
Obama for president.
I don't get what the hate is for celebs with a political view, their votes count just as much as anyone else's and how would you feel if someone said they don't wanna hear your political opinion just because you're a waiter or a store owner etc ??
NurseDeAnna said " What do they care about their money, they make millions and don't have to struggle like the rest of us" --- hello politicians are rich too but you put them in office.
32That is true. To be a politician you do need money. At least the they have worked hard for their money, graduating from top universities with high honors.
33That is true. To be a politician you do need money. At least they have worked hard for their money, graduating from top universities with high honors.
34Politics are pissing me off right now because people vote without getting the facts!! I asked people I know why they're voting for Obama and most say b/c Hilary is a woman. That is STUPID! And I know some who are not voting for Obama just b/c he's not white. COME ON PEOPLE THIS IS MORE SERIOUS THAN A BEAUTY PAGEANT.
35In terms of their political views they are so much alike, I agree with both on many things, but I disagree with some of hilary's views about immigration and Iraq. She opposes the increase of troops and what a withdrawl etc, that is great, but she doesn't support cutting funds originally voted in favor of the war. WHY?? thoses funds can be used for something else like let see.. healthcare and education, but overall they are both really strong candidates. I never even bother to even listern to the Republicans, but I'm starting to like one them, anyway I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Policitians do have to RAISE money for their campaigns, but that doesn't speak to the number that come FROM money...old, old money...ie, the Bush family, the Rockefeller family, the Kennedy family and the Taft family currently have people (some multiple) holding some type of political office...and graduating from "top" universities doesn't really mean much in this HIGHLY LEGACY based era that the Ivy Leagues are locked into...you'd be surprised what an "endowment" can buy nowadays
