Wow, I'm going to go ahead and say I didn't see this one coming. According to TMZ, Eva Mendes is in rehab at Cirque Lodge (LL's former stomping grounds) in Utah. She has apparently been there for a few weeks dealing with a substance abuse problem. We saw her in Paris in mid-January, so it must have been pretty soon afterwards that she decided to get help for whatever she is battling. We wish her the best on her road to recovery.
UPDATE — Eva's rep has released the following statement: "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

4wow, there was a blind item not too long ago about a certain starlet that was battling a major coke addiction, I thought it was Selms Blair, but maybe it was Eva. She is the least likely person I would think would do drugs.

Wow, Eva. Wow. Good for her for getting help. My guess would be coke. It seems like the top drug in the industry. Models, actresses, singers, etc. Gotta be skinny, gotta be up all night at parties, gotta be awake for this and that and yeah...too much.

I’m going to change my perception of celebrities and now I will just assume that everyone in Hollywood IS addicted to something... that way I'm pleasantly surprised to find out a star is clean rather then being disappointed that another one has succumbed to temptation (if that’s what you want to call it).

Mexican drug cartels are making a killing, literally and figuratively, off of all the drug users in our country. This is no surprise, however sad.
Robin Thicke sang, "Cocaine is back up in a big way" and Hollywood is simply a microcosm of society. They represent us all on some level.
Hopefully she'll recovery. It's such a shame.
49aww not modern day raquel welch, eva mendes is one of the good ones. I didn't think she'd be having those types of troubles, when I saw that I had the WTF reaction too, hope she kicks whatever her troubles are and has no more.Los angeles is crazy people, even the wannabes are on drugs( and cocaine and ectasy are the drugs of choice, people do it socially) I lived in LA last year and was around a few hollywood folks and to them it's normal( and no I did not partake).
