Lipstick Jungle is taking full advantage of their timing, piggybacking all sorts of parties and events with the beginning of Fashion Week in New York. Last night all the ladies of the show — Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price — were out for the big premiere party and this morning they used the oversized scissors to cut the ribbon officially kicking off the week alongside show creator Candace Bushnell. Sure this show is more than a little hard to distinguish from Cashmere Mafia but thankfully Buzz is here to help us keep them separate. Plus, we'll take any new TV we can get these days. So anyone excited to see yet another group of well dressed Manhattan women on primetime starting Feb 7...or are you over it?

8cashmere mafia is AWFUL. the characters are unsympathetic and two-dimensional. if it weren't for the writer's strike i probably wouldn't have bothered, but out of boredom and justice i forced myself to watch it twice before judging, but nope..still hate it.
i'm INFINITELY more entertained by the trailers of Lipstick Jungle than I have been by the two episodes of cashmere mafia i endured.
i shouldn't be surprised candace bushnell is a real talent! can't wait to see it!
