While 2007 was a big one for Katherine Heigl, 2008 is off to a great start as well. 27 Dresses is a hit and this week she was ranked #1 on AskMen.com's list of the most desirable women. The list is supposedly chosen based on looks, humor, intelligence and charisma. So tell us — do you think she deserves to be named the most desirable woman of the year?

5she's ungracious and overrated. while she does a decent job on Greys (although, I can't STAND her character anymore, and in a more general sense, the show), she's hardly the most talented actress of the cast. she's pretty, but certainly not deserving of beating out the other 98 women on that list, in my opinion.

13#2 on the list is Alessandra Ambrosio. Don't get me wrong she is absolutely stunning, but how would these guys know anything about her sense of humor? Or her intelligence? I follow all this celebrity stuff and I don't know anything about her personality. Am I just not reading the right articles?

22I think she's very pretty but in a classic and not particularly sexy way. So I am surprised she tops that list. My husband says she looks like the perfect annoying president of a sorority (nothing against sororities ... he just thinks she looks like a certain type).

i've pretty much stayed silent on katherine. i did think popsugar commenters were a bit harsh with her, she just seemed like someone enjoying her fifteen minutes of fame. these pictures were taken at the same time as that clip on TMZ where she is sooo playing to the paps as they asked her about Justin Chambers. total sucka for the cameras! in answer to the question though i'm sure guys won't care about her character and say yes, she's desirable but no, i don't see it myself.

I don't mind Heigl at all, especially considering her contemporaries. I'd rather see more of her and less of the other blonde starlets of her age...hilton, richie, spears, etc.

It's amazing what haters we are over someone who smokes ....Barack Obama (maybe he has been working on giving it up, I'm not sure) smokes, he could be President. I'll admit it's a gross habit, but sooo many people in Hollywood smoke, she gets caught. I imagine there's a lot of sexy men in Hollywood as well that are smokers...
No one is perfect, everyone has flaws and it's just astounding how many people on here really know hers!
And to say she is going against her religion is just awful, how many "christians" live in opposite ways of the Bible...it happens. Now, if she was preaching her
religion, that would be another story.

42Not a great actress by a long shot, has a diva 'tude that I've witnessed first hand, and throroughly ungracious. Poor husband Josh - he used to be so much fun, now he's toddling along behind his wife and dealing with being called "Joshua" all the time (which he always said he didn't like). My husband said "SHE'S desirable? Sure, until she starts running her mouth."
