Britney's parents Jamie and Lynne are supposedly headed to court today to voice their concerns about Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib's level of control over their daughter. If they can convince the court to create a conservatorship, they'll be able to control Britney's financial and medical decisions. On the other hand, Sam talked to Ryan Seacrest about how he feels that Britney's parents are just trying to get their hands on her money. So tell us — who do you think has Britney's best interests in mind?

Of course her parents. Despite all of what she's been through with them they're still going to love her. The only people you can really trust is your family, and if you can't trust your family, you can only trust yourself.

22My dad and brother have a joint business together. My dad always said, "If I'm going to be screwed, might as well be by family." So if they are "after her money" like non-relatives believes, I'd say if you're gonna get screwed, get screwed by your family, so her parents. Plus, it seems that her dad really is there to help (since he allegedly was opposed to the OK! Magazine story about his youngest and has divorced Lynn etc . . .) I think he wants what's best for his girl.

I dunno who has her best interest at heart, honestly. But naturally, I'd opt for the parents. Yeah, they probably made some mistakes along the way raising her or whatnot, but they're humans, too. And as a parent myself, I can just imagine how heartbroken they are with her because of her ordeals and behaviors. Even though you may not be the greatest parents in the world, I can't imagine them not wanting their daughter to be happy. Unfortunately, 'fame' and money haven't made her a happy, content and well-adjusted individual.
I hope that things can be resolved peacefully.

34Clearly, Britney's not doing well with Sam and/or Adnan around. I'm not 100% certain that her parents are completely innocent, but I think they are her best shot at this point.
35I honestly do not know why Lynn Spears gets such a bad rap. When someone turns 18, they make their own decisions. Brit FIRED her family, the USED be a big part of her career. Then she dissed them after they tried to tell her she was out of control. Big girl, big money, she did what SHE wanted.
TRUST ME, I have a similar family situation, and my mom can not control my sister. I guess that makes her a bad mother.

38This is a tough one. Definitely not Sam or Adnan. I'm with juliegal, I've grown weary of her parents, especially her Mom. I suppose all in all they would be the best choice but I struggle with that because Britney wants nothing to do with her Mom - remember the letter she hand delivered to her Mom with paps in tow? It's pretty difficult to allow someone to help you that you don't trust.

I think they are parents first and will always care about her and i think they know deep down they might have did her wrong in the past...but they see how bad her life has turned out..and they want to help! 45Even if everyone in the picture is greedy, souless, and after her money, these groups would have two different points of view:
Her parents would want her to get well so that she can go back to making millions of dollars that they could profit from.
Her men would want to keep her befuddled because they can keep their hands in her pockets while she depends on them to function.
I think that while her parents might not be the most selfless people on the planet, they aren't monsters and at this point probably just want to see her healthy. But even assuming the worst about people, they would still have more reason to help her get out of this mess.

48I dunno le Etiana....Britney hasnt been in her right mind for a long time and because of that, she has pushed the people closest to her away because they were trying to help her go in the right direction. IE...sending her mom away(via letter) and shunning EVERYONE who had anything to do with her. They ALL cant be trying to take advantage of her....she just wanted her own bratty way and she couldnt have them trying to keep her from doing it. So...i say that her mom probably didnt do anything terrible to merit being turned away...its just a classic mother/daughter row.
