Last time Paris Hilton was on Letterman she left saying she would never go back. Dave spent the whole interview asking her about prison (she was there to promote one of her fragrances) and didn't give it up, even when she requested he stop. Most of you thought that the interview was funny and she should have expected it, but I was still a little surprised to see that she was so quick to return. Though, I'm sure she didn't have much choice since The Hottie and The Nottie can take all the promotion it can get. Paris stopped by to be interviewed earlier in the week and emerged with a smile, but the interview didn't air until Friday night. The whole thing is pretty cordial, if a little bit awkward since Dave clearly doesn't take her seriously at all. Can you blame him? Check it out below — do you think he was too nice to her this time?

1i love dave. you can tell he just does not get her appeal whatsoever as is forced to have her on the show.

5Dave doesn't care about hurting her feelings, but he wasn't going to let the spoiled brat whine or feel sorry for herself. He just proved that the girl is attention hungry and it would hurt her more if she didn't get publicity on his show than hurt him because he embarrassed a celebutard.
6You can tell that he could care less about what she is promoting or selling and just uses her for some good laughs in my book.
He played nice but it was obvious he was just humoring her and doesn't think much of what she does or made of herself.

I think Dave was attempting to be nice at first.. almost so nice that it would be more awkward than not saying anything.. but you just can't help make fun of her. She's all in her own little world where Paris is wonderful, but I can't stand her. ugh.
11I don't understand why it's ever alright to make someone feel bad about being themselves. Paris Hilton irks me too, but I would never treat her like she's less than human, it's just incredibly bad form. I'm surprised to see this reaction from this crowd, actually, most of the time it seems so grown-up and refreshingly positive around here. It's not like she is making the world a worse place by being less than intelligent. As far as I have seen, the only wrong she has ever done is drive while intoxicated, which I don't wish to downplay, but jeez... you people are venomous for no real reason other than what? It makes you feel good?

17He was himself, which I adored! I mean, he was making fun of her so cleverly that she couldn't tell he was making fun of her...she thought he was serious. He apologized for hurting her feelings, not for making the comments, which ROCKED.

30you really can't blame him. there was nothing else on tv so i tuned in and it was hard to watch. she just really hurts my ears when she talks...and it's like he was trying his best to ask questions, but it's not like you're going to get anything riveting from that interview
31I am glad Dave makes fun of her-she walks around believing she is God's gift to the world and feels above everyone and the law. She's done more than just a DUI and if people humor her to no end then she'll feel justified to do what ever she wants-again. Dave plays nice, but the dimwit doesn't get his sarcasm and how truly boring and insignificant she is.

She looks like a horrible actor in the clip but honestly, she looks way better without all that makeup, I thought she looked prettier in the clip then on the David Letterman show!!
