Gwen is everywhere these days. She has a new album, a new baby, and a new outlook on life. In the February issue of Elle magazine Gwen says before Kingston she thought that she was a super woman and that she would be able to breeze through her tour despite the fact that she was pregnant. She found out quickly, however, that wasn't going to be the case. Here's highlights:
On touring while pregnant:
"I thought I was going to be one of those Mother Nature girls....I figured, I'll just squeeze it out, 'cause I'm really strong and I work out and stuff.....I would be seriously crying before I went onstage. I didn't know how I was going to get through the tour, putting on nine costume changes on a stage in front of 12,000 people every night. And I didn't want people to know (I was pregnant). I didn't want to become the Gwen Freak Circus Show – 'Watch it grow onstage.'"On Kingston:
"Kingston is so chill....He goes with me everywhere, 'cause I'm still nursing. He's been to every studio in L.A., New York, London. He lives up to his name – total Rasta boy....He gives me real balance. You can go 100 miles an hour, but you still have to stop to hang out with him.On life with Gavin:
"Of course me and Gavin have problems, sometimes. Everyone does. We've been together for over 10 years...This is, like, the real deal."
Well, it's nice to know she's human. I could not even imagine being pregnant and dancing around on stage for thousands of adoring fans. Sounds like she won't be trying that one the next time around. For more pics from the Elle spread just read more

12She does look better without all the harsh makeup and whatnot, but I just can't get over how immature she can seem. She's 37. She thinks that she's just gonna 'squeeze' out a baby? No. And "Me and Gavin." Come on, Gwen, it's "Gavin and I." She just doesn't talk or act like a 37-year-old woman.

She looks great and I know how hard it is to force your self to get up every morning during pregnancy I cant imagine having to do it in front of the world to critize her. Her Gavin and Kingston are awesomely cute together.

Gwen looks really pretty in these pics.
Also, she's not saying she will just squeeze a baby out, she's talking about how she thought it would be easy but it wasn't. She's talking more about how she was naive about having a baby.

20She sounds like someone I'd want to be friends with, but I would want to correct her grammer, but I don't think it's her level of intelligence or an age indicator, it sounds like it's part of her personality if you know what I mean.
FYI - the average American has a working vocabulary of just 200 words, which is one of the lowest in the world.

24How do you know Gwen said that exactly. It could have been a grammar mistake by the author of the article. So everybody should just chill when it comes to that. Its something that everybody does and is not a reflection of her intelligence
25On a completely random note, does anyone else think the guy behind her with the paint brush in his mouth looks like the lead singer from Blue October? Or am I just seeing things?
26She looks so beautiful in these pictures. Its the best I think that she has looked in forever. Normally she looks horrible between the big mountain high poof and beyond- bleached hair. Glad to see her looking more natural!

31she's so real, i love her! i think most women think that they're going to be supermom up until they have their first kid. celebrities like to make normal people feel bad when it comes to motherhood. of course they're able to lose all the weight in two weeks, they don't have to watch the kid! of course brad pitt and angelina want to have more kids, they have nannies and don't have to work all day every day of the year! gwen appears NORMAL to me.

36of course it's difficult, it must take days to make her look like she does on stage... have you seen au naturale photos of her? looks like a ghost. an ugly ghost. PASS!
37She looks better like this, more natural and yet somehow more polished. I hate the stiff hair, red lips thing. And I really doubt that her poor grammar moment was a mistake by the article's author, editors usually catch those things, but so what if she said "me and Gavin"? It's a common mistake and one a lot of people make when speaking. It's no big deal.
38She looks awesome in these pics. I think that most new mothers to be think pregnancy will be a breeze...then you realize that your body is just not the same anymore. Even getting up in the morning when you are pregnant can be an ordeal! LOL Good for Gwen for telling it like it is...a lot of celebs try to act like pregnancy is the easiest thing in the world.
I like how youthful Gwen is, too. There isn't any set way a 37 year old should act. I like that my daughter is listening to Gwen....just like I did back in HS! Gwen is like the new Madonna, in my opinion.
