i'm soo happy that the giants won! anyway, as for the celebs - i didn't see any of the preshows - so i guess i missed a lot - but i guess that tom petty wasn't so bad. didn't make me want to watch it - but i was there so i tuned in. it's hard becuase you know that they don't want to have anyone who's going to be controversial or potentially so - but come on - remember we're young and we watch the game - so have someone more modern!

GO GIANTS! Even though Eli Manning can kind of be, uh, whiny, they delivered and it was an amazing game. Also, was it just me, or did anyone else think Jordin was lip-synching? I know she had a backing track, but when she ended the song it just seemed like her mouth closed before the note ended. It just didn't sound right, and she didn't look like someone who was singing the National Anthem (a hard-ass song to sing). IMO I don't think she needed to lip-synch since she can sing, but eh.

Em1282, my husband thought Jordin was lip-synching too. He said it didn't even look like she was breathing. I think she looked to nervous before it to just be lip-synching.

Sad the Pats lost, but they didn't play well. Glad Eli got a Super Bowl ring though! Now he won't be the only Manning without one...and I really can't stand Peyton. Anything that can knock him down a bit is good to me!

As much as i hate to admit it because i am a Pats fan, The Giants played a better game last night and they deserved the win. The Pats made it all that way and then sucked! I have never been a big Brady fan i always thought he wasn't as good as he and everyone else thought and last night he proved that, Eli was much better last night.

why are people here passive aggressive, you will notice when I post I always directly address who Im posting too, and I don't worry about what they will think, b/c it isn't personal. Back on topic, I saw alicia keys performance and paula abdul's. My mom is an alicia fan so she loved alicia's performance. I think it's good that alicia steps away from the piano sometimes and she is looking so pretty lately. I didn't get to hear jordin sparks or see tom petty so I can only go by what you all are saying. Paula abdul's hat kept making me think of that hat tom petty wore in the mad hatter inspired video he did in the 80's. John Travolta's toupee really bothered me b/c I love grease and saturday night fever( in his day he was a good actor)and when I see him not it kind of makes me sad. I mean the man used to be nice looking, maybe 20 or 30 years ago( staying alive)

I thought Alicia Keys and Jordan Sparks were great. I'm not really a Tom Petty fan. I liked the Maroon 5 and Mary J Blyge concert better that was on Saturday. I like that Hugh Laurie predicted the Giants when that was his first American football game. The game was great, one of the best, down to the wire.

oh pink princess I didn;t realize you had said that about gisele b/c I didn't directly see those words but you have every right to feel that way, I mean everyone is not going to think that girl is beautiful, I don't even think it, the only time I felt she was pretty was in "The devil wears prada", In pictures I've never understood her appeal but that is just me. I don't know if I see the man thing( she has a strong bone structure, like alot of models) but I do too so maybe you would think I look like a man too.

I don't watch the Superbowl and don't care for football but I heard somewhere that Giselle said if the Patriots lost that she would run naked along Times Square and I hold her up to it.

I thought Tom Petty rocked but in a really mellow way. I've seen him in concert twice, and he's always good-always puts his heart and soul into the music.
