Last week Ryan Phillippe was all bundled up to hit the slopes and yesterday he was in LA wearing considerably less clothing. Ryan's next project is going to require some muscle — he's slated to play a Viking warrior in the upcoming movie Last Battle Dreamer. Interestingly enough, his co-star in the film is his real-life leading lady Abbie Cornish, who probably appreciates Ryan's new buff bod as much as we do.

1He would not be my first choice to be cast as a Viking. But then, I'm also the person you don't want with you when going to see a period movie. Not if you actually want to enjoy the film....lol
2He will need to buff up a lot if he has to do any lifting of Abbie in the moving. She's a BIG girl. Doesn't look his type at all. I'm so glad Reese finally got enough of his cheating and moved on. She is so much better than Ryan and his lard butt Abbie.

I don't think Ryan and Reese were destined to be together forever. They didn't seem happy together. They both seem really happy now so I can't dislike him for something that really no one knows the details about. Supposedly they were separated already before Stop Loss even filmed but who knows.
I think Stop/Loss looks really good (but the Viking movie sounds terrible).

Ryan has had very well reviewed roles in Crash, Flags of our Fathers and Breach. Stop Loss looks great too. He is doing well in his career and hopefully has his personal life on a good track. It seems like his relationship with Abbie is serious.
He certainly seems to take very good care of his kids like OCALI said. He only worked on Franklyn for five or six weeks and spent the entire year other then that in LA near his children.
