Kate Hudson is back in Australia filming Fool's Gold and showing off her killer body. Maybe she's running off some steam since she apparently just called it quits with Owen. Apparently she's been in a bad mood recently and reneged on an offer to buy her soon-to-be-ex-husband a home. Here's more:
According to the source, the former couple are also squabbling over access to their son, Ryder, who turned three yesterday.
"She's filming in Australia ["Fool's Gold," with Matthew McConaughey ] and she told Chris if he wanted to be with Ryder on his birthday, he had to go down there," said the source, adding that the Black Crowes singer was "kind of broke."
Added the source: "They're ironing out their divorce right now, and there will be a line in it about Chris having 'suitable housing' for when Ryder comes to stay, but she's not going to buy him the Malibu dream house anymore."
Of course the reps denied that this was the case. Besides, she doesn't seem like the kind of person that would want to make anything difficult for Ryder's sake.

I saw some comments about this story on a different website, calling her a wh*re and so on. Funny thing is, didn't they have a fairly open marriage? Would Chris have been completely innocent in the breakup? I think it takes two to tango - you can't put all the blame on one party, even if it is easier. Because Kate's relationship was all over the tabloids, people could much easier put the blame entirely on her. does that mean Chris never strayed either? Maybe he just didn't get caught?
7I think she is so cute and sassy. Divorce is never easy, so I can see why she's not in th best of moods.
8Chris isn't broke. He's in the studio with Rich (his brother)finishing up the first new studio Black Crowes release in years. Their tour was amazing and they played to sold out venues.

15lol I have to agree ladybug. If the deal was to be discreet, she didn't do a very good job. She may not want to make things difficult for Ryder, but Chrios might be another story.

All divorcing couples need to put the interest of their children ahead of their own need for vengence and even their own convenience at times. That includes Reese & Ryan, Kate & Chris, Charlie & Denise, Britney & Kevin, etc. Bruce & Demi need to teach a class on proper parenting during and post-divorce, not even just in Hollywood but everywhere.
27why should she buy Chris a house?
I don't think she's a good actress, but she is cute and has a great body.
28if they're going to share custody and work around Kate's schedule, she should pay to make it happen since Chris doesn't have to agree to such terms. She's lucky he's not looking for alimony esp. considering the situation surrounding their break up (Owen + Kate relationship)
