In case you've been living under a rock, today is Super Tuesday, and even the stars are coming out of the woodwork to encourage you to vote. Yesterday Diddy headed to a photocall for his new movie A Raisin in the Sun in NYC, but he also took the time to get political during a phone interview with the AP, stressing the importance of voting in the primaries today, especially for all the young'uns. He said:
"If we want to stop the war, if we want to get the economy better, I think that young people need to understand they have to take matters into their own hands. It is really like waking up a sleeping giant. I didn't really want to get in the political game but I wanted to see young people become empowered. That's where my attention is at. To have an African-American man and a woman in, it's going to go down in history as the most historical election," he said. "And I think that young people will have a hand in the result."
These days celebrities are declaring their favorites, but does it influence your decision? Diddy put together a message for you, so to see him deliver his passionate video as well as check out more pictures read more

1Hell no.. I really don't care what Diddy has to say, I vote cuz it is my privilege as an american
Remember when Paris Hilton was pushing voting and was not even registered.what an idiot.
2Diddy is an idiot.
3i remeber letsgetloud
this girl will use anything to put her name "out there"
4I voted today!
5I can't stand diddy. Go away.
6She had that stupid T-shirt with Vote or Die..and she was posing with a peace sign
what a
loser.
7
letsgetloud21! And yeah Diddy is soo annoying!
8I think Diddy's music is fun. I grew up on it. I also agree that everyone needs to vote. But he or any other celeb will never influence my opinion. I would think anyone who is influenced by celebs were lacking parental direction and should think for themselves.
9no,seriously I can't stand this Ho.. this man made it into my hoochies group
10I hated his "vote or die" campaign.
11celebs absolutely do NOT influence my decision to vote or my right to vote for whom i believe in
12To quote the south park episode
Let's get out and vote!
Let's make our voices heard.
We've been given the right to choose,
between a douche and a turd.
It’s democracy in action!
Put your freedom to the test.
A big fat turd or a stupid douche,
which do you like best?
BTW Diddy's celebrities who touted the vote or die campaign in 2004, some of them were never even registered.
13Did anybody else see that South Park episode, "Vote or die, mothaf***a!" Too funny!
That aside, using your power as a celebrity to encourage activism is always a respectable move.
14Yeah, people should vote. I personally don't want people who look up to Paris Hilton to vote though.
15voted todayy!!!
16Ok I'll vote.
I vote for Diddy to go away. Far way. I am so sick of these celebrities that are soooo into themselves. They only have their best interest at heart & OUR money, when it comes to them.
A so called celeb asking me too vote does NOT make me want to run towards the voting polls any faster.
