It's Official: JLo Is Having Twins! Break out the matching onesies! Jennifer López will have not one, but two babies! The singer's father, David López, has announced that his daughter is having twins. "Yes, twins. The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing."

3Having more than one egg drop CANNOT BE PASSED ON BY THE FATHER!!! Hence, not hereditary. Plus, it would be really, really odd to not be able to get pregnant for so long, then all of the sudden BLAM! have more than one egg drop.

8Faternal twins ARE hereditary and identical twins are not. A woman can inherent a gene for hyperovulation (fraternal) but an embryo that splits on day 2 (identical)is a completely random event.
Having said that, J Lo totally had IVF. No way she just popped up pregnant with twins at 38.
9No kidding. Either way, these are going to be two of the most spoiled rotten, clad in fur babies ever, just like their mommy.
10I also think the twins are due to IVF not hereditary in her case. But anyway, that's wonderful and hopefully she won't let a nanny do most of the hard work.

15Marc Anthony's father must be a drunk. #1 Even if it were hereditary, the sperm does not determine whether you'll have twins or not. It would have to be on HER side. #2 Has anyone in the universe not figured out she had IVF?? #3 which begs the question: how many babies were there really, before "selective reduction"?
