LA Times reports that Britney Spears has quietly been released from the UCLA Medical Center this morning after almost a week of treatment. They believe she is headed home. We've been hoping time out of the limelight could help clear her head. Even with the latest legal battles that her parents are dealing with in regards to Sam and the new Rolling Stone article it's only a matter of time before Britney is back on Starbucks and Rite-Aid runs.

wow. I thought she really was going to stay in the hospital for the whole duration. Well, lets see what she does...
1Oh God!!
2Are you FREAKING kidding me!!!
3whats next?
4
Why did they let this physco out.. It is mandatory to at least stay 2
weeks.. This literally makes me sick, look at all the damaging things she has done over the last year and she only has to stay a week..
5Wait....wasn't that 14 days mandatory? Or are they just moving her to a different facility? Or is this just a bogus report?
6May God have mercy on her soul and all those who encounter her..
7She needs more help then that...
8Yeah...good luck with that one.
9The only thing that will clear her head in that short amount of time is a lobotomy. =/
She needs more help than even a 2 week stay would have afforded her.
10I don't see how any of this can possibly turn out ok. I FINALLY feel sorry for her.
11Who are the doctors at that hospital?? How can one go from "gravely disabled" to discharged? I just pray we don't see pictures of her behind the wheel of a car anytime soon.
12I don't feel sorry for her,she caused this mess.people wanted to help her and she pushed them away.. May God Bless her though .
13The doctors need to be committed also if they let this crazy out..
14pop please stop posting about her, its just depressing and boring now. i want her to get better but i think the more shes exposed the worse shel continue to be.
15I'm with maybe63, what kind of doctors are these?
16another day, another drama. britney drama.
17That Rolling Stones story "The tragedy of Britney Spears" or something like that is really sad! She will never get the help she needs.
18Irregardless of my opinion of her mothering skills, I really do hope that she stays away from Sam. He is horrible.
19Wow! That was quick. Hopefully she willingly will continue to get the help she NEEDS.
20Sam is horrible, but so is Britney..It isn't like she is some 12 year old girl ,she is a grown ass woman.
21wtf man. LA Times said the rumor is she stopped at home before going elsewhere to receive additional treatment. Maybe she's going to a more posh, private, in-patient facility?
People should stop blaming her. Her release is not her decision.
22MAN! Here I was hoping she was really getting the help that she truly needed...
Just for the
sake of not having to hear about her every dang day... Well maybe she'll go somewhere else for help.
23At least with the conservatorship, her parents involved, and Sam under a restraining order, she might be able to get some help now.
I hope she's not out driving around to Starbucks and random hotels this week, after so many people have done a lot to try and help her. Not to mention the $25,000 tax dollars to bring her into the hospital.
24Maybe if she took a lil blame for her own actions, things would be alot better.
25Melissa Rae you can't possibly believe that Britney had nothing to do with her release can you? She is the one that makes her OWN decisions or at least is an adult and has the capacity to. Let's stop coddling her and maybe someday she'll wake up and realized what a spoiled rotten brat she's acted like for such a long time. Maybe she'll realize that she's not the most important person in the world.
26Well said Christina.. Brat isn't even the right word for it
27Maybe she calmed down and was cooperative because she just needed to detox?
28with the conservatorship in place i thought that put her medical decisions out of her hands? atleast until valentine's day.
29Multiple sources report that Britney Spears just pulled out of her house at Summit, driving her brand new black Mercedes.
That doesn't sound promising.
30UGH, if she is out tonight doing the SAME CRAP...
31Thank you letsgetloud but it's the word that won't get blocked
32Good luck Brit!
33She's going to see her 'confidante' Osama Lufti. Most likely.
Y'know what, I almost felt bad for her when the whole restraining order story went out, and I thought she's going to FINALLY get treated.
But nope nope nope. I have no hope for this person anymore. Oh well. Time for my coffee now!
34why o why is she driving...
I don't mean to laugh, but this is like a never ending soap
opera..
35loveallstar..I think the conservatorship was just for her financial stuff. I don't think they had anyone over the medical aspect of it because the papers weren't filed for that part of it. That's what I read anyway..!!
36If you read some of the reports of her begging Jamie to let her out and that he didn't love her because he wouldn't walk out with her, I only hope that they didn't cave in to see their "little girl" happy.
37I just saw a pic of her on x17.. she has a pink wig on ,driving in her new car
38Well, if she is indeed bipolar like so many believe her meds will fix that and make her calm but the meds can't fix any personality disorders that may be attached like narcissistic or histrionic.
39Ugh. This is only good if she's left UCLA to go somewhere else for more private/extensive treatment. If she's just driving around and getting starbucks...
40i thought she had to stay the additional 14 days, she needs the help, WTF is she thinking????????
41I don't know if releasing her this soon is such a good idea.
42Britney is insane,she can't think clearly.
43Supposedly they had gps trackers installed on her cars this week. Not a bad idea.
Since her dad has the ability to close all of her credit cards and bank accounts, I wonder if he's done any of that and how it will impact her movements. Of course there's always a pap around to buy her a frapp.
44that makes no sense to me - along with everyone else who's said it - i thought she had a manditory 14 days...
what's with the systems in this country - celebs don't spend their full sentance in jail and they get out of rehab early and they get out of mental releases early. no wonder so many of them are so messed up. they don't have to live by the same rules as we do!
45that is good ginger.. I Just wish she wasn't driving and just relaxing.. Her mom and dad scare me too though.
46If only letsgetloud. I really think she just craves the attention. I Think that Woop has it with her Narcisitic Disorder. So I know that this may sound like an "Excuse" but didn't all of this "Stuff" start happening after she had JJ? Is it possible that she had Post Partum Depression that was never addressed and it turned into more?
47I was really hoping that they'd finally found a way to keep her and try to help her. I guess even with edicts being passed, no one can help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
I agree with Christina;she had to be instrumental in her own release, although I'm not sure WHY she wasn't kept under observation the entire 14 days. It's as though everyone gives in to her, despite their awareness that she's nuts.
48I think most places you have to stay 14 days.. MY uncle was in one and he was no where near as bad as her.
49I don't know much about post partum depression, all I know is that she needs to be locked up alot longer than 14 days..
