It seems to be the norm rather than the exception for young people to get into drug abuse at one stage or another these days, not just in Hollywood! Absolutely sad.

Most of these celebrities don't know what they're getting into when it comes to this business. It's a shame that this isn't uncommon.

I didn't know she had any issues. But whatever, celebrities going into rehab is becoming so predictable now. It seems like everybody's been going in lately.

Of all the celebrities out there, she would have been one of the last ones I would have expected to see going to rehab.

This is not surprising at all. It's the trend... Maybe someone will notice and not want to be famous and realize you can make good money and not have to sell yourself out just for "the life".

not too surprised, wasn't there just an article on here saying her family and friends were really concerned about her behavior? anyway, i hope she can get the help she needs. i do have to say though, all these celebs going to rehab now does make it seem like it's for publicity.

why are so many stars in rehab??? i guess being a really rich and famous person is an extremely stressful life (SIKE) Seriously if you have everything in the world why do you need to be doing drugs and alcohol to make yourself feel better?

I'm not too surprised by this one, to be honest. It would be shocking to hear that Natalie Portman is on drugs, but not Kirsten. Nowadays, half Hollywood is on drugs. But, do they really recuperate after going to rehab? I don't know, I guess it depends on the person, but it seems that they just go there on a vacation or something. My cousin went there once and it didn't quite work for her.

I'm not sure whether or not to believe this news. Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if it were true based on her actions and grooming habits. If it's true, I hope she gets the help she needs.

I'm surprised to hear about her heading into rehab - she's not often often papped on the party circuit looking intoxicated.

I seriously doubt most celebs go to rehab to get attention. If they wanted it they could get wasted & crash their car. Seems to me like they are trying to avoid that.

Huh?! I mean, I know she smokes, but I didn't know she had any type of substance abuse problems. I read that some of you think she's been an alcoholic... guess I didn't know that. I really like her, so I hope she gets better soon! At least she and other ladies like Eva are checking themselves early instead of denying that they have a problem.

You know maybe after Heath Ledgers accidental overdose from misuse of scripts other people are realizing that they too need help, it might be alcohol, pain meds, heck it might be stress but i am glad they are reaching out for help.
