Britney went out yet again last night and hit up Cabana and Arena. Looks like she bought some new clothes and we definitely like them better than her recent choices; however, she might need to start saving her money. Evidently, her bad behavior is costing her more than just her comeback. L&S is reporting that the only way that she can be sure of keeping custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James is if she gives K-Fed what he's asking for, and it ain't cheap. So far, Kevin seems pretty sure of himself. Britney's wild behavior and partying would only help his case anyway. In December she offered him $10 mil for full custody of the kids, but he turned it down and is now asking for $50 mil! That's about one third of Britney's net worth! A friend says, “She’s been crying practically nonstop."
When does she have time to cry? She's out every night partying and spending time with her latest boytoy Isaac Cohen who you can kind of see in the background of the pic on the right. Wonder if he will be around for a while or if he is just a shoulder to cry on.

20It just makes me think of all the movie moguls and rock stars that divorce their wives and have to give up HALF of what they have. Usually in California, they say each spouse is entitled to half. I actually don't think $50 million is all that bad, considering how much she would have left. I don't think he will actually get as much as he is asking for, but he has to start off the negotiations agressively in order to cash in.

22juju - in CA each spouse is generally entitled to half, which I think is fair as a general rule, but they had a prenuptual agreement. People enter into prenups to protect what they entered into the marriage with. I'm sure Britney came to the marriage with most of what she currently has, what she has subsequently earned has generally been from albums and endorsement deals and products she had worked out before the marriage, as I don't think Chaotic was one of her brighter moments and subsequent cash cows.
I just think using kids in bargaining manners is low either way you split it. And I don't think K-fed deserves that much as the premise behind splitting the money is that each spouse has provided love and support in a multitude of ways to be entitled to earnings. I don't think he should be entitled to things she worked on before they met, but that's just my opinion. Divorces get ugly and nasty, and bring out the worst in people!
oh and I took K-fedEx from one of pop's initial posts about the end of the marriage, to give credit where credit is due!

28yah...her tastes in clothing don't always impress me but i find it rather silly to use it as a sign of a bad mother. i mean hell, my mom and gram wore "mom pants" with holiday sweaters. sometimes the holiday sweaters had those little xmas lights on them that flashed and played music.
29and yes, they embarrassed me sometimes. they never accidently flashed the world but they still embarrassed me sometimes. she may not be the brightest bulb on the holiday sweater but i don't think she's a terrible mother.
