Rihanna, who usually looks totally fabulous, made a bit of a fashion misstep of the hot pants onesie variety at last night's InStyle Covergirl party in LA. At least earlier in the day when she was just out and about shopping she looked like her cute self and hopefully that unflattering nighttime look is no indication of what she'll be wearing at this Sunday's Grammy Awards. We've seen Rihanna put on some stellar award show performances this year and hopefully her number this weekend will live up to her high standards. She's leaving her usual dance partner Chris Brown out of it and teaming up with 80s band The Time for the performance — should be fun.

That said, I do prefer her natural makeup. The lipstick distracts from her gorgeous eyes. She's kind of looking like old school Whitney!
