I was extremely pleased that Amy Winehouse won everything she was nominated for. Well deserved. She is looking and sounding much better. I hope she continues to improve.

it was a long show - and aside from a long slow musical performance around 1030 - it was pretty decent. i liked kanye , and i would have liked carrie's performance had she not had the WORST EXTENSIONS ever in her hair.

i'm still reeling about the album of the year award - you knew that it wouldnt go to kanye - but really? some album that no one knows about?

and i'm soo happy for amy - she did great with 3 grammy's and i'm glad that she was on air to receive the last one - it's really sad that she couldn't be there becuase how often is she going to be able to receive the best new award - only once - and yes she has the honor but accepting is part of the excitement

The vince gill comment was AMAZING!!! hahahah Kanye needs to shut up, seriously! Amy Winehouse was amazing and seemed sober and humble and I just felt so happy for her. I think she is getting the help and support she needs so desperately.

Oh and about Carrie Underwood, my husband first comment was "WOW she is getting way skinny huh!?"

It was not the best show but well....les say decent!

Perhaps if Kanye didn't spend 2 minutes praising himself and just started talking about his mom to start with they wouldn't have had to start music to cut him off. They do that for a reason as they only have a certain amount of time. But i guess everyone should just cater to him. Sorry i like his music but he annoys me, It's good to have self confidence but come on, you don't need to get up at the Grammys and tell everyone how great you are and have been winning at the Grammys for 5 years.

Kanye was absurd. So conceited. And using his mom to get them to turn off the music. He blabbed about himself then added her almost as an afterthought to shame the orchestra or whatever. I'm not doubting that he loves her or that he was always going to mention her, but I think what he did was rude and arrogant.

I thought that what Beyonce did was odd, not really singing in the beginning. And I didn't care for Tina's outfit, it looked like it didn't fit right. Good for Vince Gill, Kanye has no class. I'm disappointed every year at the Grammys and this was worse than last year. They nominated two Christmas albums for Pop, how stupid id that?I think Herbie Hancock was the most original with two completely different genres. I think that's why he won. Usually there groups of cronies who nominate and vote for their friends, like when Paul McCartney won for a song that was never played on the radio.

I feel like an @ss, because I didn't realize they were on last night, and thusly missed them. I watched the Amy Winehouse performance on YouTube and that's all I saw. I will search online to see what other clips I can find. Josh Duhamel is sooooo hot. Him and Fergie are so cute. As far as the show goes, I thought it was so boring. My favorite performance was Alicia Keys and John Mayer. I normally like Beyonce's performances the best, but something about last night's wasn't right. I don't know. I love Kanye's music but he needs to shut up. He is so annoying. He really hasn't been around that long to run his mouth the way he does. And Usher......your woman is beat looking so nothing for you to be arrogant about either!!!

BUT I must say that Beyonce is NOT NOT NOT doing a very good job of dancing like Tina Turner. I don't remember Tina Turner tripping and falling on her as* all the time on stage - back in my day.

I'm pretty sure that Posh didn't register on Tina Turner's mind when deciding what to wear.

I thought it was one of the better Grammy shows in recent memory. More performances, less hosting chatter. No single host telling lame jokes. Lots of veteran musicians we haven't seen or heard in a long time.
