I don't know about this. She seems like a good example of how, sometimes, too-careful grooming and too-formal clothes can age a woman...she looks a little old, or as if she's trying to be older than she is. Still pretty, just not her best here IMO.

jadoremondieu, does it seem to you that she's maybe making a specific effort to dress with more sophistication (and maybe a little bit older) because she is married to Tom Cruise? The age difference, his status and all that? That's what it seems like to me.

The older dressing seems to be more influenced by Posh than Tom. I wish Katie would sort out Tom's wardrobe, actually, he's been dressing pretty badly recently, all the shiny textures and velvet. I would also rather see something a bit more hip and playful, but there's no doubting how gorgeous and elegant she looks.

I don't think she looks old at all - she's in her mid-20s now, she's not a kid anymore. She's not Joey anymore, people - let her grow up. She's a mother and a very stylish one at that. I think she looks great here and I LOVE her blouse. Very pretty.

I disagree with any poster who says katie looks TOO OLD, broken record people. You guys do realize that when she was on Dawsons Creek playing a teenager, she was actually 20 years old playing a 16-17 year old. So she looked Younger than her years, and now that she is 29 this year, a sophisticated woman, you guys say she looks too old. I think she looks JUST RIGHT for her age, and its her own style.
