Despite the fact that I think she's irresponsible and totally incapable of caring for herself or others, she IS an adult. Let her be in control of her life. She should take responsibility for her actions and her life.

She's not capable of being in control. That's the whole point! She has an illness and until it's fully controlled with medication and therapy she needs help. She will thank her family once she is able to have contact with her boys again.

He does seem like the best choice... you never heard anything about her dad for a long time, so it seems he is the only one who isn't out to ride her coattails. If not him, I think the only other choice would be some kind of mental-health-social-worker-type person -- someone neutral.

I would be fine with letting her hit rock bottom if she wasn't a mom to two boys. These kids are still babies really and the sooner they can get their mom back in a healthy state the better. I'm so glad her family is FINALLY involved and that creepo Sam is kicked to the curb.

she's making a real effort to stay out of the media in a negative aspect as much as possible. i think it's wonderful that her parents are there to help her get back on her feet. sometimes people need an intervention, and i'm glad that her parents were there to help her pick up the pieces.

Well if she doesn't have custody of the kids, then I wouldn't feel so bad. I guess it's because something very similar happened to my sister. She lost temporary custody of her kids (to my mom), and hit rock bottom. It was extremely tough for my mother and I to watch, but it's called tough love. She's now better than she ever was because of it.

She doesn't seem to have the ability to take care of herself in a manner that doesn't have her on the cover of EVERY single Trashbloid out there. At least her parents seem to have made SOME strides to keep her under some SEMBLANCE of control. Her being an "Adult" doesn't seem to have any effect on her ability to be able to "Control" the drama in her life. Yet soooo many other celeb's can take care of themselves... Interesting.

Other than that...she is still bat sh*t crazy and should remain under her families care. A week doesnt make a person sane.

The drama that's gone down for the last few months should have told you that she's lost all contact with her children, until the courts see any kind of improvement in her completely erratic behaviour I doubt she'll be allowed to see them at all.

I don't even feel ok bashing britney anymore... like I use to HATE her and I always told ppl she was crazy. Like around her second album she did some interviews and just wasn't normal. But now that this is all coming out... I feel bad for her. Like I really don't want her to die or do something to herself. You have to feel a little sorry for her.
