What could it hurt if she did another show? It's not like the world is falling all over themselves about her anymore. It might actually help if we could see her all "struggling with self-esteem and finding her way" - I would watch just to see her outfits and stuff. She is a cute girl with a fun personality.

I think the american public is just over her, and trying to release an album and a show would just be more overkill. I wouldn't mind if she was really someone that seemed committed to her music, and just went away and released an album every once and a while. But she doesn't really seem invested in her music at all. She just wants to be a celebrity and be famous for something...yuck.

I admit i watched Newlyweds and liked it, but i do not think this is a good idea. Look what it did to her last time.

I think it'd make her more likable again, so I guess it really boils down to a strategic business move. I mean, look how popular she got after Newlyweds ... before that show Nick was more famous than she was.

I have watched enough interviews with the whole family to realize that he is the driving force behind a majority of the stupid stuff the sisters seem to do.
Papa Joe needs to fire himself and get his daughters a real manager. Then maybe he can go back to being a father first and actually caring about his daughters' well beings and not his cheque book!!

How could anyone enjoy watching the Newlyweds? Did I miss something? Was I the only one that saw this woman benefiting from it more than anyone else? Although now it has now back fired and she’s doing nothing career wise, either of them.

I cannot seem to understand why celebrities whine, bitc* and complain about privacy, but then they are so darn willing to do a reality show. Do they not realize how ridiculous they look to the rest of the world doing these things?

Umm it is 2008 and we have yet to see either one of them release their separate CD's.

The Simpson's are sneaky and shady. Nick gave, Jessica took, Nick went down, Jessica went up, the show was over, they divorced, Jessica thought she had gotten away with something and would go further but Jessica has done nothing but failed at almost everything that she has attempted.

i really like jessica simpson. but how would this help her career? most people that do reality shows are has beens. she should just concentrate on getting better musically and making a kick ass country album. i always thought country would be much better to showcase her talent as opposed to the pop musics she put out.

I totally agree with PinkNC. Totally sick of Jessica and her dad and the whole Simpson clan. Nick is too good for her. He was really good to her and she was thought she was too good for him. She has went nowhere but down since they split. I don't like her at all, but c'mon....the way her dad pimps her out is disgusting. She gets way too much press for someone with nothing going on.

I enjoyed watching Newlyweds cause she was smokin hot and Nick clownin her ass on the daily was so much fun to watch.But would I just watch her silly ass alone on T.V.?I would have to say no.

This family is beyond pathetic. Joe is trying his damnedest to get the public to like Jessica again but all he's doing is making everyone like her less. I really liked Jessica BEFORE she was on Newlyweds but all that show did was open my eyes to who she really was and I lost every ounce of respect for her. I never thought much of Nick but that show made me love that poor guy for putting up with her skank ass. Hell, even my husband wishes he could buy Nick a beer for having to deal with Jessica. Doing another show is only showing how desperate they all are to keep her on top and just as everything Jessica does, it's gonna fail. I can't wait till they all disappear.
