Sarah Jessica Parker spent her Valentine's Day braving the recently colder NYC weather with her smaller favorite man. James Wilke was protected behind his plastic shield, which I'm sure he's used to being a little Manhattanite in a stroller. We still have a few months left before snuggling back up with the girls, but we're more than a little excited for our return to Sex and the City. She may be all bundled up now, but methinks we'll be seeing a lot of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte come Spring.

why does this remind me of the boy in the plastic bubble?
1SJP's jacket is slightly questionable...
2Seriously, uh, isn't that kid a bit LARGE to be in a freakin STROLLER??? If the kid doesn't fit in the stroller I'm thinkin he can walk. If the kid is in HIGHSCHOOL I'm thinkin he can WALK!
3Oh yeah he's atleast 5 or 6 he isn't stroller age anymore.
4HAHA. Yeah it reminds me of Bubble Boy!
LOVE SJP though!
5but I could be wrong about his age, so correct me If Im wrong. I think I questioned when Kate hudson had one for her son too.Are there any mother's with school aged children that still use strollers?
6Maybe this is the only way he would go out... in the bubble....
7wow,lol, christina I never thought of that.
8So excited
9I was going to say that- isn't he kind of old and BIG to be in a stroller?
10yeah i thought about that, her child is quite big now for strollers, but whatever, if it gets her faster to where she wants to go then i guess thats fine.
11if he is in facct 5 or 6 he has no business being pushed in a stroller, my son is four and he walks, but my son is also as tall as an average 6 or 7 year old
12I LOVE SJP!!!!
As for her son being in a stroller, I think he is 5, right? Anyway, maybe he wasn't feeling well or something and that's why she was using a stroller. My 4 year old refuses to ride in a stroller, but then wants to be carried when his legs get tired from walking! UGH!
13what are on her feet she needs to step on it and kill it, fugly things on her feet
14He is 5, he does seem a little big for that stroller. Can he even breathe in there?
15I read that it was becuz of the cold
But I could be wrong. ya he is way too big
too be in the stroller and the bubble just makes it look crazy.
16The bubble is definitely odd- I am personally more offended by the uggs myself. Especially on SJ! She knows better than that!! haha
17She could be pushing him at 12-years-old in a wheelbarrow and I still wouldn't care. What's the big deal. We see pictures of them walking together all the time.
18I love SJP but she always sounds a bit strange when she talks about her son.
19Love her!!!
20Ha, it just looks odd because lil James Wilke looks soooo squashed.
21OMG can she even push him? He looks way too big to be in a stroller. I'm emberassed for SJP and her son!
22Nevermind the stroller (which is weird enough), why does she insist on calling him "James Wilkie"?? It's so odd. He's going to get teased mercilessly in school.
23Yeh, I was going to bring up the stroller thing too. James Wilke is possibly a family name, but sounds like a serial killer. Sorry is that too harsh?
24i just looked up his dob, he turned 6 last october. my 6 year old wouldn't get in a stroller unless she was 6, but we don't live in ny. maybe it's safer, eaiser, warmer?
25I'm not sure about the plastic/vinyl type cover on that stroller. Kids are supposed to be taught NOT to play or be in plastic bags of any kind due to how quickly suffucation can occur...but even if this is vinyl how can a young child tell the difference? All they know is it's clear, so while playing with friends one day they can think "hey, let's make our own stroller cover with this plastic wrap".
I don't know, that cover really bothers me.
26Let me start by saying I love SJP and her great style. However, I am bothered by the matching mother and son Uggs - It seems like something the girls on SATC would make fun of not endorse.
27Ok, that is a VERY ugly stroller!!! Come on SJP, if you insist on putting your 5-year old in a stroller, I'm sure you can at least come up with something prettier (and sturdier, since he's quite big).
And rain covers should only be used in case of rain or sometimes snow, not for cold days.
28bastille, ou might be right, but SJP isn't Carrie, just like any actor isn't the character they play. So in truth matching things can sometimes be cute when you have a child, or at least it can appear that way to a mom
29I'm thinking she is pushing him in a stroller because a) it's really cold b)they are walking a long distance and she can carry him in her arms if he gets tired and cranky c) it's none of our business. Really, why do you care if she puts her own kid in a stroller. How is it affecting your life...wait it isn't
30*can't
31I like the conversation about his name; let's go with that. Isn't Wilke a favorite author or poet or something of theirs? I hope she doesn't really call him James Wilke when she's talking to him. That's just weird. I bet it's just James.
32i think he's too old to be in a stroller but i live in nyc and i can totally understand
the plastic (it's crazy windy and cold out) it's a shield of sorts and the stroller makes life easier to get around and run errands etc.
that being said, i still think it's all incredibly un chic !!!
33if you lived in NYC you would see this quite frequently - the plastic is the trend with strollers - it's the only way to keep your little one dry and warmer when you're out and about.
i do think that he's getting a little old for a stroller though...oh well. i still love them !
34its affecting my pop life, if that counts
35In other pics from this outing on lilsugar, it was raining, so there was a legit reason for the cover.
He does seem a little old for the stroller, though...maybe she was walking a fairly long distance and knew he'd get tired out. You would think she would have a sturdier stroller for him, though!
36hahaha that picture on the right is ridiculous
37re88 i'm with you on that. cold british winds means the raincover stays on my boy's buggy all the time (he's only 6 months old btw) so this didn't bother me.
38Can he breathe in there? That just doesn't look safe. .
39hes 5, and shouldn´t be in a stroller
40I don't live in a big city.. Is the plastic over the stroller normal?
41too old for a stoller
42He looks shrinkwrapped!! That just doesn't look right to me. Love her though!
43OOOOOOOOKKKK, Another case of a mom who doesn't want her kid to grow up? That is too funny and rediculous. Just have another baby SJP!
44lol pinkprncess!!
