Christina and Jordan took a night off from doting on their tiny newborn Max for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Giorgio Baldi in LA. The happy family scored the cover of People this week (and probably a pretty huge check). In the article Christina gushes about how excited she's been about little Max from the day she realized she was pregnant. She also talks about her pregnancy cravings, what kind of music Max likes, and how impressed she is with her own body. Here are highlights:
- On Max's first nickname: "He was just a little circle, and the doctor said it was the yolk sac. His nickname throughout the pregnancy was Yolky and I was Mama Yolky. Now he's the Baby Formerly Known As Yolky."
- On looking forward to Max's firsts: "I can't wait to see him wiggle his little bootie and stomp his feet for the first time. As exciting as it's been so far, it's still only the beginning."
To hear what else Christina had to say about her body and Max's favorite music, just read more
- On getting Max associated with music: "Yesterday we had Led Zeppelin blaring through the house. Most new moms play Beethoven, but we're playing Metallica, Bob Marley, the Stones."
- On getting back to her original size: "My body is going back to its normal shape, and I'm like, 'Did [the pregnancy] ever happen?' I've never had more respect for the female body."
These two definitely make for some proud parents! We can't wait to see this happy family out and about, and find out whether or not little Max grows up to be a musician just like his mommy.

1Awww! CUTE! I LOVE them!
2too cute. it's great to hear the family is doing well!
3She has so much makeup on, her skin almost looks purple. Why does she insist on looking like a clown?
4Aw, boo. the red, red lipstick is back.
Come on, girl! Keep going with the au naturale look!
Sounds like they're having a good time with parenthood.
5She's so pretty
6NOOOOOOOOO That red lipstick has to go! She looked so much better in the pics the other day with natural makeup. I was really hoping that was her new trend.
7She could probably use to cut back on the spray tanning as well.
8True that wonder!! I remember back in the day, when she was so natural and so very beautiful. I miss those days.
9I know this is off topic but wonderwoman80 - the little guy in your avvie is SOOOOO cute! Points off for the Patriots gear though.
10the red lip stick is too much but hey ,im happy for em

12Love her
13Yolky
14Cute!!!!
15i like these 2 and i'm glad that she's excited to be a mom. i haven't gotten this week's issue of people yet - but i will have to check out the story. i saw the cover online.
16Very cute!!! and little Max is adorable!!!
17Awwwww. =]
18shes back to the hooker makeup, still love her though
19i hope baby max got most of his mother's looks because his dad isn't so cute.
20She looks good
21I got the issue of People yesterday. The article is great.
I love them to pieces.
22I like this couple very much. They carry themselves very well - Gwen and Gavin are another example.
But yes that red lipstick has GOT to go.
23I read the article and i can NOT BELIEVE that her doctor gave her a C-Section just because she didn't want her vagina stretched!!! What doctor would do that??? I hope her insurance didn't pay for that since her reasoning was cosmetic. I can't believe how celebs get what they want just because.
24Are these celebrities for real? Is that the new PR culture to blah blah fairytales when they give birth, get married, hooked up? I've never in all my years hear people express themselves like celebrities do. I guess this is the new PR culture to make magazines sell by appealing differently and that all are rosy.
Com'on people like to connect with real normalcy. A parent who had a bad night with the baby, not like Katie Holmes who described her 22-month-old daughter as "a strong woman"..
25wow, i am soo late....
26Umm Ashley, yeah regular women are getting c-sections for those reasons as well. You might want to do research before you judge. Actually it's not any of our business how her son came into the world,as long as he is healthy.
27She is lovely. :]
28This is why I don't buy the magazines she's on...she seems like everything she does is something no one else has done. It's annoying.
29But I respect her talent.
she's so beautiful even after all these years in pop!
30Cute, loveeee them.
31love Christina what a happy family
32can't wait to see little Yolky
I bet they were too tired to even enjoy their night out, but the tiredness is for good reason
. That's funny she mentioned the music she plays for him b/c when I have kids I'm totally bringing them up on all the artists my parents played for me!
