Selma recently got a very dramatic haircut. When we first saw it we thought that maybe it was for a role, but it turns out it isn't. She said, "I was ready for a change. I think I’ve been trying so long to fit in to the long-hair girl kind of Hollywood thing and it's just not me." So what do you think? Can she pull this look off?

3i love short hair cuts as long as they are styled properly and kept up..but this one is a little weird and rosie odonnell-ish....I'm just not sure yet. I do love her though, regardless.

13Selma is definitely beautiful, and if she didn't want to conform to the Hollywood Barbie mold that's fine. But did she have to go to such a hideous extreme? The only way this "haircut" would be understandable was if she was working at a factory, and in some terrible accident, her hair got caught in a machine and the only way to save her was to do chop all her hair off with an ax.

25I HATE HER HAIR SHORT. she looks like a guy, and it is kinda disgusting. i am not saying that short hair is disgusting, i like short hair, i have kinda short hair and my best friend has short hair, but it kinda looks a little DISCUSTING on her.
Also the long hair Hollywood thing? that is SO not true. a lot of celebrities have short hair, i mean like Jessica Simpson, and a lot of other celebrities looked good with short hair (actually i didn't like Jessica's hair that much so that's a bad example) but i think she (Selma) (idk how to spell) LOOKS HORRIBE.

27She's young, she just went through a divorce and I imagine that's a very eye-opening experience. Sometimes, you need to do something a little drastic.
28I had long hair my entire life. It was my security blanket of sorts. I turned 25, broke up with a guy and was having some serious 'who am I?' issues at the time. I freaked out and got a bob (a big deal for me), because I just needesd something different. So I can understand the need to do something a bit drastic.

48I don't care for her haircut b/c it just seems like she's trying too hard. I never pegged her as someone who was trying to be the total Hollywood girl anyway. There are plenty of other looks she could've gone for. I think she was going for a little "buzz" no pun intended.
