Charlize Theron looked gorgeous in her funky metallic dress on Stuart Townsend's arm at the Meteor Irish Music Awards in Ireland on Friday. The couple then went casual for a screening of Battle in Seattle at the Dublin International Film Festival on Saturday. Charlize is getting into the awards show circuit abroad, however don't expect to see her on the red carpet at the Oscars. She's planning on watching the show from home, saying, "I think it's a special thing if you get a nomination, or your film does. Then you go. But we don't have any nominations or anything like that in the house, so we sit in our jammies and watch it on the couch."

15Charlize to me is the prettiest girl in hollywood and the most beautiful blonde actres ever. If she existed in the 40s she would have been a star then and been even more dazzling since all those hollywood blondes were always glammed up to the max. I think it's cool that she feels that way because I get annoyed at seeing people like Jennifer Lopez go to the Oscars EVERY YEAR and she's never even been nominated! It seems like she only goes to show off what dress she's wearing on the red carpet. She doesn't care about the movies!
However I must confess that Charlize Theron is my favorite glamour girl on the red carpet and it sucks because I and I'm sure many people and fashionistas were so looking forward to seeing what she'd wear on teh red carpet. Remember that year 2000 when she wore that gorgeous tangerine dress? She killed it and brought old fashioned glamour back to hollywood that year. Everyone else is so boring and just tries too hard. Charlize is natural at being glamourous and working the red carpet. Only Cate Blanchett is one to watch now but she's pregnant. Let's hope Charlize gets in a film or performance taht gets nominated next year. lol. We love seeing you at the awards Charlize!
