You all were pretty split on how you felt about Paula's new single, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow," but now we've got a video to go along with it. Paula has become known as the emotional judge on Idol but she did start off as Janet's fabulous choreographer and of course her own pop star. Looks like she really wanted to take this opportunity to show that she's still got moves. Watch the video below (special cameo from Randy, Simon and Ryan!) and tell us what you think of her new video — love it or leave it?

Galeries Lafayette
Chantelle
Lola Rose
I actually like it somewhat. I mean, it's better than some videos out there right now. Not bad!
1i just see janet jackson from the '90s when i watch this. same moves, same hair, nothing new.
2First, i will say that it is better than the performance they played at the superbowl. Secondly, i don't get the "cameo" for simon and ryan. They should have been in the video sooner and not doing a promo shot for american idol.
3I used to love Paula, this isn't really doing it for me though.
4what is this?
5total janet jackson 90s, during the run away days. GAWD!
6yea no. Sorry girl but that just isn't her!
7Song sucks, dancing is good though.
8See I thought the song was alright, but the dancing was bad. Very obvious the girl is in pain. I thought Randy was cute!
9wow that poll is close!
i like it...i could totally c myself dancin 2 it in the clubs. def does sound like 90s janet tho
10She's still got it, but I definitely found the video to be cheesy.
11The song is not worst than Britney's.
12She gets really nice moves. Not so bad !
i watched it without sound so in spots it was a whole lotta "cold hearted snake" and bushy banged paula.
13I was just going to say it sounds like Britney, but not as many vocal change-ups.
Eh, I don't think it's bad, but I don't think it's anything new, and I still like Paula's old stuff much better (cheesy I know).
14All I saw was hair flinging around.
If that's dancing then I can do that while I sleep.
15Not the best song but girl can dance! She's like 50 and he stuff looks (and sounds) better than Britney!
16*her* sorry ; )
17it reminds me of janet jackson back in the day.
18she needs to act her age and dress her age.
19I like the song, but I can't stand the video. :/
20I love Paula and Randy on AI, but unfortunately, this video is awful. Sorry Paula. The song isn't great but it's not as bad as the video though. I can see it getting played a lot and getting stuck in everyone's head.
21The choreography is good, but I think it would suit a younger pop star better - JLo, even. It's hard to take Paula seriously after watching her on AI.
22is this really how she sounds?not digging the song at all and the vedio is nothing original
23The song is eh...you can tell someone over 40 wrote it. The choreography is pretty good though but I think Paula went to her 80's closet for her outfits.
24It looks like she stole a few of Janet's old video costumes. Hmm...I wonder what Janet Jackson's up to. I like her. See? This is not the message Paula Abdul wants to send. And it's quite obvious that her singing voice isn't even what it once was (which wasn't much to begin with) b/c of the over-produced "digitalized" sound. Just sad.
25I dunno why but I kinda like the song, it sounds very 90's, very Janet too, but I don't really mind. I love everything that makes me dance so I shouldnt even judge(don't hit me, I actually LOVE good music, I just like crappier ones on the dance floor
)
26The song itself is growing on me. But the choreography is so 90s!
27ummmm....i forgot...what year is it again??
28It was alright...I could listen to the song again, but I'd skip out on watching the video.
29Didn't she do the choreography for a lot of Janet's stuff? That would explain why the video is reminding everyone of Janet! The video wasn't bad, but it's sad that her style really hasn't changed at all in the past 20+ years.
30Meh. It was okay. I thought all the shots of Randy were a bit odd. They didn't show a single other player in the "band" except him.
Her dancing wasn't very impressive considering she used to be very good. Things change but I guess she didn't keep up with her dancing too much.
31I find the choreography really great but unfortunately the directing is not that good with too many wide shots. And I don't fancy the song that much. It's just basic pop...
32Completely ridiculous.. I even stop watching at the first 30 seconds because it was SO lame. Also, at her super bowl performance, she was totally lip syncing.
33Not the worst and I like the song.
34It's ok.
35I really like the song but she looks so bored in the video - shes hardly moving and I agree with other people, shes totally channeling janet 1990's here. Spice it up!
36Meh....i didnt care for it. Seriously reminds me of all her other videos from the early nineties. Only this time around they shot it to make it look like she's still got it(you know, with the dancing and all)when truthfully, like someone else said...its obvious she is still in pain.
The cameo at the end was soooo sorry....and pointless. Yeah, we know you're surgically attached to Randy, Simon and Ryan. Blech!
37Wind machine=does not guarantee hotness. case in point.
38I think she purposely made it dated. Even the song sounds a bit 90s.
39Maybe it's because I grew up loving Paula, but I think it's pretty good.
40Not too bad, definitely sounds 90s. I didn't like some of the outfits she wore, not too sexy! Oh well, she's trying.
41I love the song!
42The video is boring and the song is too.
43didn't care for it
44I love the song, and I think she looks great!
45It was an okay video, okay song. Not too bad!
46No to the video and the song.
47she look amazing with 45 yrs old
48It might (and note I said MIGHT) have been ok if they never did the cheesy band part with Randy Jackson in there. It doesn't fit the song AT ALL. It's pop (computer sound generated) song. No one is actually play instruments. GAWD.
49Paula is still attractive any everything, but attractive does not a good video make.
It's decent. Her hair and clothes are straight out of the 90s. You gotta give it up to a woman who's still singing and dancing it up in her 40s, though.
