Sure, Tara Reid is looking better, but is she really worth $100K for a two week long stint in Australia to promote a horse race better? Uh, that breaks down to a little under $300 an hour (oh, you know she was working the long hours, too)...for Tara Reid. She has been in Australia all week, though she spent substantially less time shopping than Paris did in her recent stint down under. Perhaps the pay difference had something to do with it? Unforch, in the end Tara's participation wasn't enough to help the favored horse win. Horse owners John Singleton and Gerry Harvey paid the $100,000 for Tara's appearance at the carnival, but their horse came in eighth. Perhaps judging from the recent years of her career, the owners should have known she's not the best good luck charm. Hey, 2007 could totally be her year. Or something.
Hopefully she'll get back stateside soon, because the not-allowed in line outside Hyde must be lonely without her.

She's clean and
sober and trying to get her career back, and that means a lot. I'd much rather see this healthy and happy Tara than the drunken mess she was last year.
