Britney Spears looked a little more like a pop star and less like a mess ducking out of Mastro's Steakhouse after having dinner with her father on Saturday night. It was a good weekend for Brit all around — earlier on Saturday she finally got to see Sean Preston and Jayden James for the first time since the beginning of January. The celebratory dinner apparently involved steak, seafood and lots of cigarette breaks. At the risk of sounding like a broken record hopefully this is just the beginning of things getting back on track for Brit. I must say, it's nice being able to write about positive changes after the last year of it not often being that easy.

I don't know why everyone's saying 'she looks better' or 'aww, she's improving'. Lets be honest, she's looked miserable since she left the hospital. I look at these pictures and see a ticking time bomb...
11Hmm, nope. Still not buying what the Spears' are selling. Still not buying that she's getting better. She's back to having handlers with tight control again. It's how she became famous in the first place - things being hidden well with lies. Papa can't be around forever.

13These pictures don't contain any of her smiling but would you really be smiling if you had all these cameras in your face? If you ask me, she's got the proper reaction on her face now when confronted with paps.
There are pictures on other sites of this night in which she's very smiley and laughing in the car with her dad.

I think she is just trying to be more in control in the situations that beforehand she would have been completely out of control. I am happy that she gets to see her boys, you know that she has got to be thinking, no Sam+Dad= kids

19Briandiesel, I was thinking the same things. She IS looking better. Anyone says that they "haven't seen her" smile since she got out the hospital hasn't been looking at all of the pictures. In fact...

22Probably because like someone else said she's trying to change her ways. She's not the "crazy out of control" britney when the paps are around now. She probably at this point is wishing they weren't there, so why in the WORLD would she be smiling? The picture I posted was taken when she wasn't being hounded by paps. To me it's a big DUH!
