I don't get it... why does his height provide such a source of laughter for people? I mean, trust me, I've had my fair share of laughter over some of this man's actions in recent times, but I just find it entirely ridiculous when people ridicule him for his height. He's not even that short, and even if he were, who gives a sh*t? It really reflects badly on our society, and not on Tom Cruise, that everyone is so fixated on the man's height in relation to his wife, or in this case, his son.

They don't see Nicole she lives in Australia( her husband lives there) and let the kids stay in school in LA b/c they've always been there, Nicole gets them during the summer. Atleast that's what Nicole said. Tom scares me most of the time, but it's nice he spends father /son time with his son.( And see I said something nice about Tom, I'll give myself a gold star for that)

Rachaelnexus, you totally got that from Dlisted...but since I've read that I also call him like this (privately, because his lawyers scare me almost as himself). And I agree with you. Sorry whoever loves him, but I lost my respect for this man long time ago.

And yes, his height shouldn't be a reason for mocking. I'm a shorty myself, I know it hurts and how unfair it is because it's something we can't change for real. But his gestures, his crazy laughter, the really weird way of speaking about his faith + the fact he is short make him look ridiculous. He deliberately tries to attract people's attention, well...people are critical and start paying attention at EVERYTHING regarding his person.

For instance: Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman are as short as Tom Cruise, but you don't see people mocking them for that.

Maybe if Tom wasnt such a crazed jerk people wouldnt laugh at him for being short. My entire family is short (my grandparents are barely 5ft tall) and I understand its something no one has any control over, but when tommy here acts like hes God's gift to the world, I think mocking him in any way is totally acceptable.

Personally, I think the height mockery can be attributed to the lifts he wears. He's obviously trying to be taller than he is instead of just accepting it. Fair game, I say. It doesn't help that he marries amazon women. Penelope Cruz was a little closer stature-wise.
