Mischa Barton looked surprisingly hot, both in the summer-y way and just looking good, out magazine shopping in LA yesterday. It fit right in with her general strategy of counteracting bad news — this time being formally charged with four misdemeanors [1] for her December DUI and marijuana possession situation — with a positive photo op. At least this time she just looked pretty rather than beating us over the head with her innocence [2]. You all seem to be fans of a more wholesome Miss Barton [3], but we can't forget about her scandalous streak just yet.
