Nicole Richie has supposedly been offered the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. The role has done great things for many including Ashlee Simpson. We're not even sure Nicole can sing and dance but it could be a great way to revive her "career." Tell us, would you pay almost $100 to see Nicole on stage?

Ummm, revive what career? Please, enlighten me.
1I would Love to see her on Broadway but I wouldn't pay $100.
2no i wouldnt even go for free, still like the girl just dont think she has much talent than a bag of potato chips
3I picked other because I haven't seen Nicole act or sing so it would be unfair to judge. Paris Hilton, on the other hand...
4@Shopaholichunny-- I love that smiley!
lol
Anyways, I don't think that Nicole Richie is talented by any means. And I think she would be better suited to the role of Velma. But I have been meaning to see Chicago since ... a while lol, and it'd be cool to see Nicole in it. Plus, that would mean Nicole/Joel/Harlow sightings all over NYC and that'd be fun!
lol
5Hellz no
6Depends on the review, she may pleasantly surprise everyone. Who knows. I never see her on anything beside the reality shows.

Pink. "Bag of Potato Chips"
8I am awesomeness-Isn't it CUTE? I LOVE it!
ummm NO!
9nice photoshop job there!
10how about give that role to someone who work hard at they craft for years..not a talentless celeb..
am sorry nicole is ok..but what talent does she have?
being parisho friend?
11I said other too, because I'm not sure if she actually has any talent and wouldn't say no until I had heard proof that there was infact no talent. Perhaps growing up with Lionel Ritchie as her dad she was able to pick up the singing skills?
12Noooo.
13Somebody list her talents...please.
14Hell no!
15Dont kills me guys but I love her style... I wouldnt pay 100 but I would love to see clips or pics....
16u mean popping pills and getting knocked-up isn't a talent, i'll be damn

18I'd have to hear the soundtrack first. I'm really picky when it comes to Broadway.
19If it was Paris then the answer would be "Hell No!!! However, with Nicole I am not going to deny that she made some very bad choices in the past. However, she gives me the feeling that we usually underestimates what she is capable of doing. Thus, I think she should be given a chance until she flops and then we can make our comments then
20Perhaps. I'd love to know if she could rock it on Broadway. I think a lot of people have hidden talents. Who knows - she could really surprise us!
21I'd go just to see if she could pull it off
22I think people would pay $$$ to see Chicago regardless as to who's playing the role of Roxie.
Dont people love that one?
Personally I cant stand musicals! They're my idea of torture
23no.
24it's kinda hard to get to broadway since i live in CHICAGO (get it!!). unless i get on a boat and row there.
they'd have to pay ME to go!
25I live in NYC and see broadway shows all the time. ANYONE who's up on that stage has gone thought a ton of training by the pros!! If nicole signed up they would kick her ass into shape! And yes, I would be thrilled if she was on Broadway. It would give me an excuse to see Chicago... again!
26What's with the string of celebrities being cast as Roxy? Is it because Roxy requires average singing skills and little to no dance ability? I'd love to see these "talented" celebs try to perform in Phantom of the Opera or The Winter's Tale or The Doll's House.
27I wouldn't spend $100 but I'd be happy to see her actually do SOMETHING.
28LOL @ blob..i know thats right.
29how about it's time to be a mommy?
i hope this is only a rumour. shame on the broadway execs who would offer this to someone with a newborn.
30somehow i don't see nicole being a full time hands on mommy...
31I am not into seeing shows so I wouldn't go at all. But, I wouldn't mind seeing her!
32Not much dancing going on in Chicago on Broadway...well especially for Roxie...I saw it over Christmas and wasn't that impressed, I've seen much better.
33see this is one thing that i just dont get. she's never really claimed to be a singer/actress before so why would this be on the table? ugh...it's going to ruin my impression of Roxi in the show. at least i've seen the movie and the braodway show a few times that i won't mind missing it this time around.
34so many haters!!! FYI Nicole is a professionaly trained dancer and plays a few instruments...she also has a pretty good voice...and if ashley simpson can hit the notes for roxie then almost anyone can
35Sure. Why not. If I had the money to see a Broadway musical and if Nicole just happened to be playing the part of Roxie Hart. I wouldn't miss the chance to see a Broadway musical.
36She has a song online called Dandelion. Not the best song, but cute and she can sing. She would probably surprise us if actually given the role.

37Seriously, can we get more coverage who are actually, you know famous AND talented.
38Broadway is going downhill...so is society.
39Shopa is a
40I'm going to ask to play Roxie...seems they'll hire anyone.
41hellz no!
42i loooove chicago and i got to see it on broadway and i really dont see nicole on broadway. i dont know, maybe she will prove us wrong but right now i just dont see it.
43I wouldnt see broadway period, it doesnt interest me at all. I like Nicole though, shes pretty hilarious, so maybe id see her.
I thought you were going to ask if id see Nicole Kidman, and that would be a hell no, but Nicole Richie, sure why not.
44"no i wouldnt even go for free, still like the girl just dont think she has much talent than a bag of potato chips"
Amen!
45i dont know if i would go... i have never heard her sing so i can't say anything
46My answer is: No Way — There is no way she could pull that off. She has no real talent.
All said.
47As much as I like Nicole, she can't pull it off. At least Ashlee Simpson has somewhat of an advantage and experience. First off, she's the youngest person to be accepted to New York's ballet school and she's a singer. Nicole is famous for being famous and that doesn't mean that you're qualified to perform in Chicago or any Broadway show, for that matter.
48I would, I like her persona
49You know, it's one thing to get your life together, have a family, settle down, and get applauded for. But to try and be an actress when all you've done your whole life is snort crack and curse? WAKE UP!
