Amy Winehouse has been busy moving to a new home in London, but the bigger news is that she's apparently been offered almost a million dollars to perform at the Louis Vuitton fashion show this Sunday, the last day of Paris Fashion Week. Most of you loved Amy's Grammy performance, but do you think she's worth a million?

Of course she DOES! Her voice and songs are amazing. U know,I think, that she is worth more than million dollars,if Hilton costs 2 million for just being at party,Amy is worth 100!!!
1no shes a crack head. look at her hair. wtf? what a creeper.
2If we punished everyone in the music industry for doing drugs, there would be no music industry. Besides, all this judgmental nonsense when it's probably quite likely many of those doing the judging are doing drugs themselves. Lets just enjoy the music and let the girl get paid!!!!!!!!!!!
3No. She needs to clean herself up and then maybe she'd be deserving of such lucrative deals. Good voice or not, she's an addict and that's not the type of message young people should be getting.
4Yes she's worth it. She is amazing on stage even when she's high. I'm not saying her behavior is right and maybe she shouldn't be glorified but this is the Fashion Industry and there are MANY INDIVUALS like her. In the end at this present time Amy is doing much better than she has in a while and if during her treatment she See's and feels what the experience is like sober it might encourage her to kick the habit . I've seen her live and it blew my mind.
5Why not? A million isn't much these days and if Mariah Carey is going to cost 6 times more, why not Amy? Yes, it may sound like a lot of money - but to her, it's just another million or so.
6very very talented singer, doesn't matter how crack head she is....and hello! she has 5 time grammy winner.......she's worth every cent
7is**
8i think everyone who is saying that just because Amy Winehouse has or had a drug problem that she isn't worth a million dollars should reconsider their comments and think on the fact that addictions are out of the addicted persons hands, It's hard and scary to get help, its just the same as eating disorders its not simple, it doesnt mean you are a bad person, or a dirty person, or that you dont deserve the same treatment as everyone else, it just means that you are in a vulnerable position in your life that you need a lot of help and support to get out of, if you dont have first hand experience with these types of things how would you ever know what goes on inside the head of someone with an addiction? so I think you should keep your comments of that sort of nature to yourself, because there could be people on these very forums with problems who are offended by it, its not very considerate.
9I don't think she has any talent... so No, she isn't worth a million.
10I honestly couldn't care less if she does drugs or not that's her deal.
11Definitely worth it. She's a LOT more talented than many of those other girls out there. She's unique and not scared to be different. Sure, she may be an addict, but as others have said, so are many other actors and musicians out there. Lindsay Lohan's an addict, but do people stop watching her movies? Britney Spears' behavior is pretty bad, but do people stop listening to her music? Just let these people do their jobs.
12I think she is worth it, yes her personal life is a mess, and she is a mess but as an artis she is really good, she has a great voice and is very talented
13I think she is worth it, yes her personal life is a mess, and she is a mess but as an artis she is really good, she has a great voice and is very talented
14i'm with the majroity. yes she does deserve it. he is not asking her to sit there and talk about her personal life, he is paying to sing. different story.
15She sings and many, including me, like her material, so she is worth whatever people are willing to pay.
Seriously, drugs have nothing to do with the quality of an artist's material. Performance maybe. Should I throw away Sgt. Pepper, Electric Ladyland, or every Bob Marley album I own because their lives were as drug influenced as her's? No.
16I just can't get with this girl! She's PAST horrendous to look at, but at least she knows a good bag when someone throws her one!
17Her personal life is a separate issue from her music . As long as she gets on stage , performs 100% and wows like only she can , then go for it Amy.
18She is not being paid to stand on stage and smoke crack , she is being paid to sing the songs that she has written and made herself a mega star.
Do not get me wrong she needs to clean up , but only Amy can do that.
She is not being "rewarded" for her bad behaviour. She is being "rewarded" for her talent. What she does in her personal life does not concern any of us. It is too bad that the media has made celebrity lives a free for all for the public.
19a million to watch her?
omg.
20I love Amy (bunches), but I dont think anyone is worth a million dollars....
21Amy Winehouse is amazing. I love her voice and her songs, very soul-baring. She may have some problems, but she's working hard in fixing that. She writes her own songs, composes her own look, she doesn't have people do that for her, like most so-called "artists" do nowadays.
22Why not? We pay football stars millions and I don't give a crap about them! I love Amy Wino! Don't think in terms of what a million means to you or I (the average Jane) but what it means in terms of the industry.. .it's really nothing and much worse have gotten more.
yes, yes, and yes.
23No. It has nothing to do with her behavior and everything to do with talent. I'm not saying she's not talented, but there are sooooooo many more talented people out there. A million dollars is ridiciulous.
24her personal life has nothing to do with how amazing her cd is.
25she has a great unique voice. she shouldnt be punished for that.
yes she needs help, but that has nothing to do with her music.
She is good but she's not worth that much!
26Fashion Victim makes a very good point. At least she has talent and a career and is being paid to show up and DO SOMETHING, unlike certain people who get paid truly obscene amounts to show up and pout.
Having said that, I hope she shows some respect by showing and performing to the best of her ability, and letting everyone know she's worth a million bucks and then some! We all know she has talent, but we've all seen her perform when she's wasted and it's not pretty, and she's not worth penny in that condition.
27I say she's worth it!!! Her personal choices in life are definitively wrecktastic, but the chick CAN sing. I'd rather she be paid a million than say...Britney Spears!!!
28Omg, get over the "bad behavior" already! As sad as it is, her music isn't really the Carrie Underwood golden girl type. I'd love to see her stay clean too, but sometimes the Sugar sites and readers focus so much on "behavior." Hey, if the woman is successful and isn't hurting anyone else, then it won't effect my impression of her talent.
1 million is a ton of money, but it has brought a lot of publicity to LV, which isn't exactly a brand known for modesty and simplicity. Hey I wouldn't pay it, but I guess someone will!
29Paying her a millon dollars to perform is not rewarding her for her bad behavior. she is an artist with issues, we all hope she can work through those issues, but if she puts out good art she deserves to be rewarded for it.
30the only reason why they are paying her a million dollars so everyone will tune in to see if she will do something stupid, they are exploiting her problems and its crap
31To me it depends of how much normally an artist is paid to do those shows. If someone more established than Amy Winehouse, like like say Alicia Keys, is paid less to do the same thing then something is wrong. So as long as she makes good use of her million dollar (meaning not to buy drugs) than It's guess it's okay.
But in the end I think Amy Winehouse is much rewarded to be the hot new thing in the media: she's constantly in the media glare, 99 percent for the bad reasons and people at Louis Vuitton sees in her an opportunity for good publicity. The fact that she's actually recognized for her talent is icing in the cake.
32She totally is! Ok, she's got problems but she's amazing singer, I just LOVE her voice. I think she's amazing!
33I hate her voice. It's probably the result of drugs damage, to be honest. I cannot stand her 'music' and I cannot stand how messed up she is.
34She's had 1 great album right? I'm a fan but I'd like to see how GRAND her next album is...
35i don't think a performance by anyone is worth a million dollars. that may not be a lot to big stars in the entertainment biz, but it's still a butt load of money in real life, just to do a set for an hour or so. i don't think her personal problems have anything to do with it.
36Absolutely. She has her problems, but as a musician and a writer she is a gem.
37Also, I would like to say that she's looking very good in these pictures.
38Oh, and I am surprised by how close the poll is. I thought I would be in the vast minority.
39"Rewarded for her bad behavior?"
I've said it before on here, and I'll say it again. Are her drug problems any different than Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Morrison, etc etc? NO! The only difference is she has the paparazzi following her around to document it.
I'm starting to get annoyed with these polls that just showcase the opinion of the person who wrote it.
Behavior & talent are not related. She's an artist getting booked for a job. Period.
40Hey, at least she can sing and writes her own music unlike everyone else in the music industry!
41She's very talented, no doubt about it. I would rather she wouldn't do drugs for her own sake, but that's not my problem. She's the one who has to live with herself.
42If Louis Vuitton think she's worth a million dollars, then she is.
Shed blow a good portion of it on coke, and her other addictions she has.
43Melissa- no, she doesn't just have one album.
"Winehouse's 2003 debut album Frank did well, both commercially and critically, in her native Britain. It was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Her 2006 follow-up album Back to Black led to six Grammy Award nominations and five wins, tying the record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night and becoming the first British singer to win five Grammys,[2][3] including three of the "Big Four": Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year."
-Wikipedia
You can google or wikipedia this stuff before asking here if you want! Frank is pretty good too, it's a little more mainstream and pop than Back to Black.
I am sooo sick of these polls on ALL of the Sugar sites. Even the Fit ones seem biased. Like:
Have you ever eaten a piece of pizza?:
"No, it would kill me instantly."
"No, it has too much fat."
"Maybe, but I think it was in a dream."
"Yes, but it was when I was five. I haven't eaten any in the past 20 years, I swear!!"
Let's experiment with the polls for a week and just do "yes" "no" or "maybe."
But I mean, even asking this question makes it seem like no, pop does not think $1 mil is appropriate, or why even question it?
44I agree when most of you say she has the talent, she has a unique voice that sounds amazing live. Id hate for the drugs to ruin her beautiul voice. A gift like that shouldnt be messed with.
45this girl is so overrated and overhyped and i hate her hair.
46It goes along with the rest of Hollywood and celebs. 1/2 of them are overrated, yet watch MTV Cribs and you will see the most amazing houses because the American people are buying music that is so completely repulsive and makes no sense, but hey...that is the way of the world. My husband is a police officer and risks his life everyday, but yet Amy Winehouse is a druggie and makes a million for one performance. Sure, sounds like America.
47I guess I shouldn't say America, but the world. America is awesome, but the celeb thing is ridiculous over here. They aren't that special. Neither are pro sports players.
48hahahahaha......NO!!!!
49it really is pathetic what passing for talent these days.
