I think she is a much better actress when she performs in her native language. I enjoy watching her in Spanish films. Her American films, not so much. I find her to be pretty, in a very off way.

i've always thought she was beautiful, especially in some of the modeling ads she's done. i agree with skye, though...i don't think her acting translates as well into english. it's like she's struggling with her accent so much in them i can't feel what she's feeling.

EP, if that's a great dane, they're that big at 6 weeks. We used to have danes - great dogs. Kinda wish we had one now instead of the upkeep our Old English Sheepdog has.

i love the great dane. i want one sooo bad. they are super friendly! but could you imagine if that one started to hump penelope's leg? she would fall over, ewwwww!

We used to have a great dane but had to give him away, very affectionate. I stay away from dogs my leg is like a magnet to randy dogs...

They get all these pets as if they were toys, they tote them around for a while as if they were babies and than that's it ... the hired help are left to care for them. And what if the hired help don't even like dogs? Haaa !!!! I am beginning to feel sorry for these celebrities, they are all pathetic lost losers that just have a ton of money and that's it ... We're all more genuine and fulfilling than they are !

I haven't seen very many of her movies, but there's something I do like about Penelope. She does seem cool in her interviews. I don't think she speaks English very often in her personal life, and that's why she still has such a thick accent. I don't find it distracting, but I can see how some may.

I would love it if she and Salma were really lesbians and they were super out of the closet and became the new "it" power couple. They would look beautiful together!

Also, regarding the puppy...if you've ever gotten a new puppy, big or small, when you first bring them home, you don't want to put them down!!! I know I didn't. There's actually a rational reason for carrying them sometimes too. When they're that young and they haven't gotten all of their vaccines and you are out and about with them, it's not a bad idea to carry them to keep them from stepping in something that could make them sick, as unlikely as that may be.

Aw, lurve the puppy and the big ol' Dane. I haven't seen her in too many movies, but she was actually really good in Gothika. That movie was one of the creepiest I've ever seen (nightmare city) but her character was awesome. I didn't really like her until I saw her in that. Actually I didn't like her because I thought she was a homewrecker who broke up Tom and Nicole!!! lol I remember actually liking him. . .

I love the dogs!!!! Both of them!! I didn't even look at Penelope because the dogs make me melt. That would be crazy if Salma and Penelope were lesbians together, sooo hot!!
