In what we can only describe as a misguided marketing move, bebe has decided to replace Mischa Barton as their spokesmodel and use Rebecca Romijn instead. The former Mrs. Stamos is gorgeous, of course, but doesn't really seem to fit with bebe's target demographic. Plus, Mischa's looking pre-ty good in the ol' bikini recently. Here's more:

10I thought they gave this Eva Longhoria? Also, Mischa didn't choose to leave The OC. She was written off the show by the creator because of her behavior.
11Mischa's ok looking, but I wouldn't call her sexy or sensual by any stretch of the imagination. Far too skinny and can't act. I think Rebecca's gorgeous, so what if she's over 30? It's hardly a death sentence...

What has she done the OC?? Give me a break this girl was in the right place at the right time. All the Hollywood "young" women were going to he!! in a hand basket.. they grabbed her into the spot light. Stepping back and taking a second look, she has nothing more than some wanna be HS senior IMO.

27On the Rebecca being old comment, age ain't nothing but a number. Some people just look real good no matter what that number happens to be.
That sucks! I know that clothing campaigns always go one of two ways: they stick with you forever (if you're kate moss), or they're endlessly going through starlett after starlett. Well I think Mischa was perfect, but maybe they're going after an older demographic? I personally think bebe isn't appropriate for anyboy over 30.
What's with the Mystique reference? They want women to be sexy by painting themselves blue and going nude??

31Bebe doesnt know what it is doing-- that's BAD marketing, Rebecca really doesn't have the "young party" look that Bebe is famous for. She's more... I don't know... older. Sexy, yes, but OLDER.

ugh, I think she is hein! It always freaked me out seeing the huge pics of her in bebe. I don't think she a good actress by any means, but maybe she needs to look for more challenging roles or pick something completely different from her OC role.
32I agree MelBrit. She only has her stick figure going for her, since she is just a walking twirling coat hanger. I think her ego ruined her for me. Plus, I think more women want to be like Rebecca Romijn than Mischa...she seems less egotistical and more fun than Mischa. At least in my opinion

I think Mischa is lovely but so is Rebecca Romjin and I think people can relate to Romjin more. She has a great sense of humor, dates cute guys and wears nice clothes. You can't say any of that for Mischa.

I am surprised that they would choose Rebecca but all in all, I think she is a good pick. She is beautiful and I think it is great that they want to mix it up a little bit as opposed to sticking to the same "type" of models for their ads.
