While Reese hopped from LA to NYC with Jake, Ryan Phillippe spent his weekend with the kids playing in the mountains at Big Bear in California. I know, I know needless to say, but how adorable are Deacon and Ava? — love them. The trio played around in the snow and climbed on the rocks while Ryan snapped photos with his iPhone. With Stop Loss just a few weeks away, we should be seeing a lot of Ryan (and, um, Abbie) on the red carpet together. Even if that reminds us of things we don't love about Ryan, anytime he's back with the kids totally makes up for it.

2I like Ryan. I will always like Ryan. Both he and Reese have moved on to other people. As long as they remain committed parents I have no real problem with either one of them. So I am totally behind Ryan. Abbie Cornish or not.
On a sidenote: Does anyone else notice that both Reese and Ryan are dating someone who worked with Heath Ledger??? Abbie did Candy and Jake did BrokeBack. I just noticed that. Found it interesting.
3i've seen the trailer for his movie a few times and i can't say that i really want to see it but i'm sure that it'll draw a bit of an audience. it's like the mr and ms smith thing - where everyone knew that it was the movie that broke up a marriage (even if those involved disagree)
as for his time with his kids - you have to admit that he does take great care of his kids and they seem really happy. that's a good thing since there are soo many divorced couples who just don't make it work

13I think those kids are SO CUTE, but at the same time I do feel bad about looking at the pictures. What Ryan said the other day about Ava, and how she started being very concious about what she wears outside because she knows she might have her picture taken...it just makes me sad.
