After taking Harlow for a stroll [1] on Monday, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had a little private time together yesterday in LA. Harlow isn't the only woman Joel dotes on [2] these days — he was quite the gentleman opening Nicole's car door for her. Fatherhood is also making Joel reconsider his band's lyrics, and he told MTV News [3] that having Harlow has "definitely made me think about my fans a little more, because they're people's kids, so I care what they think. And I care what I'm saying to them, because I want people to think about what they're saying to my child." Who knew Joel would turn out to be such a family man?
