In between promoting The Other Boleyn Girl all around the world, Natalie Portman found time to pose for another stunning photoshoot, this time for the April Marie Claire UK. With all Natalie's acting success it can be easy to forget she has a Harvard degree to go with that pretty face. When asked about it, she said, "I can be pretentious and talk about books for hours, but I’m not hyper-intellectual or anything. I mean, I like to read, but lots of people do. I’m not the hard, brainy girl at all. I’m really mushy. [Laughs.] I’m much more mush, I think, than anything else!" While Natalie should never be ashamed of being smart, it's nice to know she loves her soft side too. 24i love that she didn't sacrifice her education to be an actress. i remember when she first decided to go to harvard and did all that - and you can see that she's no worse for ware about it. there are so many actors that fear if they take the time off - then they won't have a successful career and you can see with her that she's just as busy if not busier now than she was when she was younger.

30i love this girl. she doesn't sound pretentious at all, but more self-deprecating than anything, but very humble and sweet. i can see where she's coming from, i love how she is genuinely nerdy about books and politics and helping people in general. it's always nice to hear about someone who talks about books and sounds worldly and very educated.
she's great. i hear her movie didn't do too well, but who cares. it's natalie portman, she'll find another movie that will do well and even if it doesn't, she is still number 1 to me. just by the way she is.
i don't necessarily agree with her on a lot of things, either, but the fact that she comes across as engaging, serious, nice, and humble is the best package i've seen so far.
