The ladies were not as thrilling as the men, but there were still plenty of pretty faces to look at and voices to hear. Besides, crazy Paula knew to up the ante last night to fill in the gap of boringness.
- I expected more bad Whitney Houston imitations, but we only had one and of course it was the opening number. Asia'h was OK, but I think she is in trouble along with the performer who followed her, Kady.
- As much as I want Amanda gone, figures Simon raved about her, so she should secure that top 12 position.
- Kristy Lee did not do Journey justice, and Carly was just a solid good, while Ramiele was better but I was more focused on her glossy lips than anything else.
- Brooke was loved again this week, although it was not my favorite performance of hers.
- Syesha was an excellent closing number. She had a great look, voice, and energy to end the show on a high note.
Tonight, I am thinking bye bye Luke and David Hernandez, but since none of the ladies were standouts I will have to go with Asia'h and Kady. I hope Amanda takes her place, which is unlikely since she definitely has a lot of fans, including Simon. At first I thought Amanda was weird but she's actually quite pretty under all that weirdness. She's much better looking live than in pictures.
And I SO agree about that Journey song! They totally complimented her and I thought it was crap! I mean it was a boring song and she sang it very averagely.
I thought Carly did well too.

4I watched every season of this show but not this year. I am so sick of it!
5I dont' like the tone of Carly's voice. I agree she's technically a good singer, but I just don't like listening to her.
6Brooke is the only girl I particularly like and I bet in person she'd annoy the hell out of me.

7I like Amanda! It's fun having something different every week instead of just yet another wavy-haired blonde. That said, I like Carly alot. Kady was cute but forgettable. Rameiel's performance nearly put me to sleep. I really like Asia'h and Sayesha but I'm afraid one of them might go; neither one really stood out.
8I don't get the whole Amanda craze that the judges have. Sure she's different, but I don't think her voice is all that good.
Kristy murdered a great Journey song! I can't believe they all liked it, especially Randy! UGH!

10I liked Amanda in the beginning but I'm over her now. She just sounds the same and I don't truly think she can "sing" - I'm bored of her and what seems like her "wannabe" clothing and hair. I couldn't believe they loved her!
11I'm a little sad Kady is doing so bad, I really liked her in the beginning and I agree with Simon that she comes across so great in her tapes and interviews but she's lacking something in her performances. Too bad...
I think, based off these last few weeks, we're probably looking at a male American Idol. The girls just are bringing the same talent to the stage. We'll see if that changes...
