Great news for Minka Kelly — so let's skip the whole here she is walking her dog in LA yesterday bit and go straight to the good stuff. Friday Night Lights may (fingers crossed!) be coming back for a third season. Most of the show's fans thought that it was dead in the water after the lackluster and totally depressing abrupt (due to the writers' strike) end to season two. The new season would be thanks to some deal NBC made with DirecTV, the details of which are still a mystery, but no matter what I'm happy. Yay for more Minka and yay for more FNL.

8The NBC-DirecTV deal is not such a great one. At least, if it's anything like the one that Passions got which I never really watched. But as I understand it, ONLY DirecTV customers will have access to the show on some random DirecTV channel. I REALLY REALLY hope that's not the case with such a great show as FNL...it's fine for a soap, but not FNL.
9LOVE FNL!!!! My husband and I are absolutely hooked - one of the finest, most addictive shows on TV. Minka is adorable and sexy, and Taylor Kitsch, OMG, he's ridiculously hot. What a show! Whew! (I'm fanning myself, it's pretty hot!)
