It's a true story and should be pretty heart warming.

They would make a cute couple. I hope Kate is not in the picture and Owen has healed from his past troubled times.

Jesus Christ, you're determined to set her up with her co-stars aren't you??? No, they don't look perfect together. It looks like she has a flat and he stopped to change it. I honestly don't think Jen is his type. I think Owen is just taking it easy with relationships and all that. He has had it rough. I am hoping that Jen's Mr. right comes soon. I am praying. Hard.

Oh and not to toot my own horn but I look pretty darn good in jean shorts. I am not sure if any one still owns plaid. I think thats a huge generational gap piece of fashion right there. I don't do plaid. However a solid color blouse and some jean shorts, I think I look pretty darn HAWT.

I personally think that Jenn can do MUCH MUCH better than Owen. He has way too much baggage. Leave Owen to the likes of bed hoppers like Kate Hudson. Jenn is too good for Owen.

I hope they all find true happiness though. I never liked that model guy she was with, he seemed to be NO fun, never smiled, and too uptight.

Owen is good friends with Vince Vaughn. I wonder if he will show up for a friendly visit?

I think this movie is going to be really stupid. I read the book and it was cute and all, but dog movies are rarely more than overly precious. They're rarely quality movies.

I read yesterday that they might film the second half of this movie here in Philly, which would be cool. The book starts out in Florida but they move to the Philly 'burbs part of the way through.

And Owen annoys the crap out of me. I don't know why but I can't STAND him. Jen looks cute here, though.

P.S. Plaid is totally, totally in style, and has been for almost a year. See?

Ever since I've been posting on this site, I've noticed I have a thing for sunglasses - ones I don't like! Both of these pairs that Jen and Owen are wearing are foul. Surely they could have had better ones picked out?

But I do think they will be great, acting together in this movie.

From the cold winter in Toronto to Miami, that sure is a great change! I thought she made a better on-screen couple with Aaron Eckhart, but we will see. I absolutely love her style, it's so laid-back and casual but it never looks careless.

This is my favourite book. I cried for 52 pages of it!!!

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo not happy Jennifer Aniston is cast as Jenny Grogan!! OMG! Pissed off is more like it!! I so saw someone like Jennifer Garner or Reese Witherspoon in the role. Jenny Grogan was so lovable--even in her dark phase. I just don't know JA is going to pull it off!! JA is better at quirky roles like the one in Along Came Polly. She was brilliant at that!! I'm just not sure she can do this part justice and it's the most amazing story, ever!!

I mean, I could be wrong but I'm guessing she hasn't actually lined up every person in the world and put them in jean shorts and plaid shirts and made a categorical judgment on it... but then I don't know what Molly likes to do with her spare time.

And as WhiplashGirl points out, plaid shirts are VERY in right now.

As for Jennifer, is there no truth to the Aaron Eckhart rumours? I like the idea of those two together!

I just don't think she's the best actress - hot bod or not. Her acting in movies is a bit "dullsville".

Thank you Molly for always bringing a positive outlook on things. This is why I LOVE this blog: it's always optimistic and doesn't bash people like other depreciative gossip blogs.
So why are people who comment being mean? I don't get.
Jennifer Aniston is lovely (and is THE human being to pull off that look), and I love Owen. I hope they help bring this story to life in a fun new way, cuz I read the book and loved it.

they are cute together - but i think that although it seems like she likes comedic guys - i don't think they are suited.....i like the idea of him and kate getting back together...i don't know why.

I think these are two fun people that will do a fine job with these roles. I cant wait to see this movie.And I don't think all her movies were bad, sure they were not oscar material. But I still enjoyed watching them.And she looks FAB !

I adored the book probably because I had a pet just like Marley. I dont think I've ever enjoyed a movie that Jennifer Aniston has been in so I am not holding out much hope with this one. I agree though that there is way too much pressure on this woman to be linked to a man. Her life seems pretty great (from the outside) without one. Someday she may just bump into mister right probably on the set of one of her awful movies!!!

I would be afraid to see Skankolina in shorts! Only Brangeloonies "pity" Jennifer. A lot of people felt bad for her when Brangelina deliberately HUMILIATED her by making a spectacle of themselves BEFORE Brad was divorced. I bet Skankolina bosses him around and nags him all the time. Brad was pathetic in his desperation to have children.

MMS stunk. If Brangelina hadn't hooked up, no one would have gone to see it. Just like no one went to see A Mighty Heart.

I'm looking forward to the movie with Jen and Aaron Eckhardt, which filmed in Vancouver not Toronto. Not so sure about the Marley and Me movie though. Jen is a decent actress as well. Even though the movie was a flop I thought she was really good in The Break-Up.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith was a good action flick and I'm not saying Angelina is the best actress in the universe but Jen isn't all the special either. What's wrong with the word 'tight'? Jen obsessed psychos always try to put people down who don't agree with them. Get your filthy panties out of a bunch.
