We thought Halle Berry looked big last month, but I think at this point she looks ready to pop. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about a baby photo pay day yet — but maybe Halle's saving that fun for when she's got her new addition in her arms. Even though Halle has finally traded her chic pregnancy wardrobe for purely comfortable clothes, she still looked a little grumpy leaving a LA grocery store with Gabriel yesterday. You'd think one glance at Gabriel would make any woman smile, but in her ninth month of pregnancy maybe Halle needs a little more to brighten her day.

I'm thinking she just didn't FEEL like smiling! No big.
1love her she is so hott, she doesnt need to smile im sure she is unconfortable she is about to pop, and i dont think halle is fake to fake a smile if she doesnt want to she wont
2Maybe she's not smiling because everytime she goes anywhere there are paps following her and taking pics. Then she knows they are going to be put on celeb blogs and forums and she will maybe be ripped apart and scrutinized for any reason someone feels fit. Hmm, maybe that's the reason????
I agree pinkprincess and robinesque
3wow..she is due any minute now
4they are going to make one beautiful baby
5
jmast where have you been
6Awww. They are such a HOT couple! LOVE her.
Gabriel
7yaaay halle sighting. I wondered if she was okay, hadn't seen anything about her lately, I guess she's gonna have that baby soon. She and her guy are a beautiful couple.Of all the celeb babies her baby is the one I sort of want to see.( and I guess I sort of wanted to see Nicole R's baby)
She's managed to look great her entire pregnancy, I could only dream that same fate for me,lol
8an actual celeb worth calling a celeb, cant wait to see their baby, i just love her
9I'm not a big Halle fan.
She talks about her terrible innercity upbringing, but really she grew up in a middle class neighborhood like the rest of us....
But that aside, she sure did pick a pretty mate to have a baby with, that will be one cute kid.
10I love halle! She is flawless - Hold on gurl any day now that baby is coming.
Ima guess shes having a boy.
11Can't wait to see what the kid will look like.
12I hope they make it, what are the chances they will stay together for long? this is a Hollywood couple after all.
I agree that's going to be one cute kid.
13It feels to me like she s pregnant for years! Can t wait to see the baby!I hope it s a girl
14i was thinking the same martini
15Holy pregnant! That's going to be one good lookin' kid!
16Poor girl! She is ready to POP!
17Bangs,a feel the same.
18Last time I was nine months pregnant I didnt feel like having my picture taken at any given time (that could be why she isnt smiling). I am not a fan of hers since the hit and run and all the whining about her past bad relationships but, I do agree the woman is beautiful and definitely picked a beautiful baby daddy. I am sure this child will be gorgeous!
19she has definitely dropped!! I bet she has that baby within the week. Gorgeous as always!!
20Mmmm Gabriel...so beautiful
21Perhaps Halle is above feeling she needs to flaunt her child for millions of dollars. Celebrity babies are still just babies.
22I miss the days where they were just spotted walking the pram down the street. Rather than the competition and melodrama that magazines cause when they fight for who gets to feature a new baby.
would i be smiling if i am ready to pop and fools with cameras have nothing better to do bother me to photograph my trip to the grocers..NO!
23I liked her too until in every interview she talks about being black. She's half black, why and how can she dismiss the other half of her so easily is beyond me.
She always talked about her being black and proud of being black, even though she is half white, was raised "white", with a white mother, white friends, she and her sister were the only dark skinned people in her school. She said her father was a dead beat and never helped her or gave her a dime growing up, yet she embraces his race.
Don't get me wrong. If she's proud then great, I just question her true intentions.
I find it hard to believe since she NEVER had any black influences in her life, how could she totally dismiss her white heritage like she has. Her baby will have very little black ethnicity. I wonder if she will consider the baby white or black?
Not that it really matters...but in every single interview she does, she brings up her race. (which is why I am bring it up)
Even Danny Glover made a statement that he considers himself an Actor, and he would never say BLACK actor, because his skin color has nothing to do with his career. He questioned why Halle never set herself apart from other actresses until she won the Oscar for Best Actress. Then that's all anyone could talk about, he said he considered that an insult. She should have been proud to win and not made the statement she did (mentioning only black actresses and saying this was for them).
She would audition for roles that were meant for "white" actresses and would complain because she didn't get them, but she also complained that Angelina Jolie played the part of a part black woman in "A Mighty Heart". Hallee said that role should have went to a woman of color. ??? I don't get it. She is supposed to be able to get white roles but white girls aren't supposed to get mixed raced roles? I think she's really confused.
She obviously didn't care about Jewish people when she made that remark about Jewish people having big noses. That just shows that she is insensitive to people too and she was raised thinking stereotyping is Ok.
24the only celeb baby i actually want to see.
good genes. will be one gorgeous baby....hopefully she's happy and getting all she's wanted all these years. a healthy baby and a great family environment.
so excited. for her.
25Actually she's old enough to know better. I don't know if she was raised thinking that way or not.
26awww look at that tummmy
27comments 1 2 & 3... wonderful!!
28@LimaBeans,I disagree with you.
(For someone who doesn't care for Halle, you sure have alot to say about her)
I know you and the PC police want to believe in a colourblind world, but Halle even said so herself that everyday at school she was reminded that she had black skin, regardless of her being 'raised white' and that counts for a lot.The 'one drop' rule isn't some obscure idea ,it existed and is still often applied.Halle doesn't look white ,and especially in America where race is still an issue people cling to groups of familiarity,Halle looks black despite her mother being white and she will always be treated as such (because, let's face it if you didn't know her ,you'd think 'oh ,there's a BLACK woman').As for you saying she never had any 'black' influences in her life,I saw a documentary about her after her Oscar win and her mothers best friend, who watched Halle grow up is Black-so i don't even know what you're talking about.
I've never once heard Halle deny her mother or say that she detested her being white, but she said her mother raised her to be proud of her blackness, because in America she would always recieve the negativity attached to that. Its commendable because you have to arm your children for the hatred in this world, and her mother did that.
As for always bringing up her race, did you ever stop and think that maybe she gets asked about it,all the time.
And regardless of what Danny glover said (In an ideal world maybe),Halle saying she's a 'black' actor isn't a negative, she is.And will be treated as such,For example:She told a story about going up for a part of a park ranger but she was told not to audition because the producers didn't think it was believable for there to be a black ranger!!!!SEE-right there.Colour is still a huge part of peoples minds, even in the movie business. There aren't that many parts out there for women of colour. Most are written for white women, which Halle is not.So when Halle of Thandie newton (another biracial actress who identifies herself as Black) says Angelina shouldn't be playing a black character I don't think its because they have an intrinsic hatred but rather that there are so few roles written for darker woman that for a well know actress (Angelina Jolie),who is always going to get acting work it seems a little unfair.I am inclined to agree.
29there has been a change in the climate, where Caucasians actually want to claim the half Black people.
30She looks FABULOUS as usual! I'm hoping for a girl for Halle. I guess we'll know any day now.
31Limabean, Halle was talking about what her make up artists who were jewish said about noses and apologized for it afterwards. Let's be honest, all of us stereotype at one point in time even when we are not aware of it. Also,I had no idea there were white women roles and black women roles? This isn't the 1950's or 60's. Why should she audition for the roles. In case you haven't noticed, a lot of roles offered to women of color suck or consist of minor roles. It's hard being a woman in Hollywood better yet a woman of color. Also, I haven't heard Halle whining about bad relationships. She has mentioned she was in abusive relationship at one point of time to bring awareness to domestic violence. She never said who it was but the media did through sources.
32*shouldn't
33She looks so fab!! Even if she is eventually going to sell the pics of her kid, I'm glad we're not hearing about some bidding war between people and us weekly, I think its so tacky for celebs to auction off their children's pics like that
34and I completely agree with orange glitter and re88!
35What is there to disagree with? I didn't make any opinions except that I questioned why she would say she's black when she has just as much white in her and was raised white.
A mother who has a black "friend" isn't the "influence" I'm talking about. If you say that, then you could say that all little white children living on plantations years ago had black influences because they had black nannies that raised them. lol Her mom having a black friend is not a lifetime influence especially considering they moved very often, PLEASE.
As for Coffy stating the climate has changed. LOL I'm 1/2 black and 1/2 Jewish. I'm not white and I don't consider my self black. I am who I am and I would never disrespect either race as to solely claim only one.
I know both sides of the coin and to be honest I'm so sick of hearing the same thing from my black side of the family always bringing up race. I grew up in private schools and I never heard anything from my friends about my race and I never felt I was discriminated against. I never heard anything about racism until I went to visit my dad once a month (who is black) and that's all I heard from my 1/2 brother and sisters. Them constantly bringing it up caused me more grief than living day to day with my white and Jewish friends.
My 1/2 brother quit school in 10th grade and all he did was sit around complaining, unemployed, that if he were white he would have a job and have a nice home. I got so sick of hearing that, I told him to get off his AS@ and go back to school. Of course I got labeled a name I don't want to repeat. Even if we were in traffic, he would swear people wouldn't let him in because he was black. Every bad thing that happened, he contributed it being because he was black.
I have a white boyfriend and because of that, some of my black cousins won't even invite me over to get togethers with him or really even speak to me. There is racism on both sides, but I've seen it being worse on the black side and my whole point was, Halle making the statements she makes doesn't help things and it doesn't bring us together as a whole.
36RE88
Hallee is the one who specifically said "white roles" and "black roles" so take your beef up with her.
37and, did I say anything about her NOT auditioning for C-Sakes? You see what I mean. People totally take things out of context and change things all around. I was simply making a statement as to why she isn't one of my favorite people. Don't come at me with some "this isn't the 50's" statement. Obviously there is something to it or else you wouldn't contradict yourself by saying the roles offered to "women of color" in your words "suck". lol So which is it? Are there white roles and black roles or are there not?
38hmm . . . sounds like some ones got some personal issues they're taking out on a celeb . . .
39@Lima Beans, you definitely have an opinion. :)I think it's great to say i don't claim one race over the other, however to also be aware that the majority don't agree with you. I must add that Black women who cared for the plantation owners children were not considered nanny's, they were mammies. big difference.
40lol Rice just go away and stop trying to start something that isn't there.
This is what I mean exactly. Yes I have had things happen that make me see things differently. But thank God it helps me to see things that others may not. You wouldn't understand Rice because with a comment like you just made it's pretty obvious that you just don't get it.
Go to an Angelina or Britney post if you want to start something, I'm sure they will be happy to oblige.
41lima beans that happens alot around here, if they dont agree the will work up their case, i feel like i am in court sometimes in here, keep your ground, and all i saw was an opinion
42Ok Coffy
Nanny or Mammy you get my drift.
I had a nanny, she was black and she was my grandmother's best friend. I lived with my mother and grandmother. She was like an extension of my grandmother really. They helped each other out. I didn't call her Nanny, but that is as close to a definition as I could think of that she was to us. She helped cook and helped my grandmother clean. When it was time to eat, she sat with us at the table and we all shared. It wasn't like what you're probably thinking. We loved her.
43Thanks PinkPrincess, it's nice to see someone not jumping down my throat.lol
44lima beans, lmfao that is so true all some do is agree but cannot come up with something to stand their ground, stirring up trouble
45ive learned this the hard way but hey it earned me points, almost to platnium, some people even thought i was another poster, wait i better not agree with you because i might be you too, this is to confusing
46Lima, for a start, take a deep breath and calm down, ok? Getting defensive isn't going to clear anything up with regards to your opinion or thoughts and how they are perceived or understood by others in a text based world.
Now, with regards to Ms. Berry's personal choice of racial identification, it's just that. A personal choice, how she perceives herself. Just as you perceive yourself in however you do and I perceive myself how I do. Who are we to judge how someone identifies themselves? It's not for us to say at all. I mainly identify myself by one of my ethnic heritages over others and even over my nationality, and many people do the same.
I'm very sorry that you have been the subject of racism from one side of your own flesh and blood. To me, that sounds like something you really need to work out with them. Venting it on a gossip blog may make you feel better when fustrated by it, but it doesn't solve it within your personal situation.
In my view, there are indeed "white roles" and "black roles" and "hispanic roles" and "asian roles" and "gay roles" in Hollywood. Fair? Right? Not always, no. But we can only fight within our own areas, and therefore it is up to the actors to fight to make those changes. And changes have been made, all one has to do is watch a cross section of movies from the begining of film to today to see that, although at times it seems as if not a lot of progress has been made.
47i think lima got worked up because people that didnt agree jumped all over her case, the same that say dont attack other people respect their opinions, whatever those are the first
48Lima as some one who just happens to be bi-racial, I understand exactly what you're talking about, I was simply stating that it is obvious that you're casting your life experiences onto statements by some one who you've probably never met
49no need to jump down MY throat and try to "start" something
