I don't look at her the same way. The way she hops around with men makes me sick. It's good that they get along now. I just don't think any man will be able to trust her. DAK found out she dumped him by some TMZ guy, and her poor husband found out about Owen 3 days before all of America found out. We all know the drama with the Owen break up. This girl is just bad news if you ask me.

I think it's great that they are still having family outings! It makes for a better upbringing for Ryder. Poor Ryder looks like a girl though.

I think of Goldie & Kurt as hippies, well, more so than the rest of HWood

I loved him in the Disney movies of the early 70's. (Kurt Russell). My mother actually lived in a commune near San Francisco CA and so I know what being a real hippie is like. I just don't consider Kate to be one although she likes to think herself as one. She says she's Jewish and she's been auditioning for movies since she was a kid. She's lived in the lap of luxury. I just think being a hippie is a different lifestyle than that.

BUT... I guess if I had to pick someone it would be Goldie and Kurt to be considered the closest.

Yeah, thats kinda what I meant. I mean, my dad & his sister drove from South Carolina to Oregon in a VW bus so. But yeah, she isn't much of an Earth Girl but more so than, say, Nicole Ritche who wears hippie-ish clothes.

Because my mother is Jewish and the 2 yrs that she lived in the commune she never saw another Jewish person there. So, stereo typically speaking, Jewish people are rarely considered hippies.

Like I said, it's just not what a typical Hippie is thought of as being.

i know that i'm not the ony one here who wishes they would get back together. i think that kate and owen make a cute couple, but my heart still warms to the chris/kate concept there. i don't know the details of their divorce but with how much they seem to get along now - i think that they should reconcile.

I love her bohemian chic style--she always looks pretty and comfortable. I wouldn't say she was a hippie though. My friend went to school with her @ Crossroads and says she was really preppy back then

Oh, and may I add that I admire her for keeping a close relationship with her son's father. They obviously have Ryder's best interests at heart.
