As we announced yesterday, Lindsay Lohan has checked herself into a rehab facility. Details are just now starting to emerge about her last pre-rehab nights out on the town. The NY Daily News is saying that Lohan, who had only been seen drinking water for the past few weeks, was out drinking Red Bull and Vodkas while on Percocet only days after her appendix surgery. While, Page Six is reporting that Lohan was found passed out in the hotel hallway at 6AM after Princes' Golden Globes after party. Been there, right? Nevermind. Hopefully no one added insult to rock bottom injury by drawing male genitalia on her face. But what, pray tell, will become of the movie she is currently filming? People has that covered:
Lohan, 20, has been filming the thriller I Know Who Killed Me, and a rep for the movie tells PEOPLE production had already been on hold due to Lohan's recent appendix surgery. It's uncertain when filming will resume.
"I Know Who Killed Me, like all films, has insurance," says the rep. "In Lindsay's case, she has a good 13-hour work day. The character she plays requires a good deal of physicality and she's not yet healed (from her surgery) and not yet ready to return."
Of course we'll keep you updated as the full story comes together, because we all know it's only a matter of time before this "appendicitis" story unravels completely.
UPDATE: While we really, honestly wish Lindsay the best in her attempts to get well, we couldn't help but notice her sly use of the word "Proactive" when describing her decision to enter rehab. Perhaps she was slipping in a plug for the similarly named acne solution for which she shills? Well, it got us thinking...could she be used as the spokesperson for her newest proactive venture as well?

When is she going to snap out of it for real? I find her annoying sometimes, but I really do hope she seriously does overcome this and then also not care anymore about attention. I think if she stopped drinking and the drugs and stopped searching for attention she could really have potential. I don't know why, but I do kinda feel for her, even though she can be a "mean girl".

17I have to say that i am alittle shocked by all the negativety that is being written on these boards right now about a girl who had the courage to step up and face her problems.
I don't agree with a lot of LL's choices in life, but I think this is one of her better ones, hopefully taking a step in the right direction.
Addiction is not something anyone chooses to deal with. No one asks to form an addiction to something. It is also very hard to overcome. Anyone who has dealt with is knows how much it makes your life a living h*ll. It's scary and you often feel completely alone, no matter how many people are there to hold your hand through it.
LL doesn't even have a decent family she can turn to for support. Her father is in jail and her mother is busy running around town just as much as her daughter.
I think LL has a lot of talent she is just drowning into the whole hollywood scene and unfortunately, this is how people are going to remember her.

22I think that people are being so negative about her because she is ruining some genuine talent and good luck for the sake of "fun" "fitting in" and "being a teenager." I think those are just excuses to behave badly. That said, I hope it works out for her, but I'm not going to put money on it.

23I think she thinks of going to re-hab like going to a spa or something. When she finds out how rough it is she'll check herself right out. I'm amazed how far she went to try to fake everything and it was still obvious. She in re-hab before she's even legal to drink! What a nut!
24well, they say you have to hit rock bottom before you accept your problems and start recovery (i think that's what they say). what a shame that everyone but those close to her could see this coming a mile away. remember the letter from the studio (making bobby) ripping her for partying and coming in late, and william macy saying there was no way she could ever apologize for her on set behavior. followed immediately by lindsey's own mother saying that lindsey was just a young girl having fun or some such thing. just like britney, lindsey has surrounded herself with people who either say exactly what she wants to hear or people who's judgement she doesn't respect. and just like britney she lives only in the moment with no thought to the future. not even 21 and already in rehab, meaning the statistical probability of her "recovery" is %1. sad, sad, sad.

36I am not 100% positive on this topic b/c she has been talking about getting clean for awhile & it seems to me like she is doing it for publicity. Wearing the 90 chip, telling the world that she had been going to AA for a year & still going out every night, walking around flashing a water bottle everywhere she went & clearly not drinking water. I agree w/ the crying wolf comment. She has been denying her party girl image (even getting crabby about it in interviews) & blantently going out to bars & clubs that she should not even legally be allowed to go in. If she were in AA for a year then she would know that you are supposed to keep away from people, places, & things that make you want to use.

I have to laugh at the STORY - it's a junkie/alcoholic classic. As for Lohan, well, she's another classic. Like everyone has said, you have to hit rock bottom before you can start cleaning up. She gets to decide where the bottom is. Something tells me this isn't quite it yet.
42As far as I'm concerned, the appendectomy story unraveled when I saw her running around in a blue bikini, cigarette in hand, and not a scar in sight. That was proof enough for me.
43I don't think a 30 day or 8 week rehab will do it for her. She needs like 6 months! Appendectomy my a$$!
