Big day for Britney yesterday! It started with some boring legal bill stories and then we got very excited with the news of the How I Met Your Mother guest appearance. Even NPH was shocked about it. He told ET this about Britney's upcoming role, "It is very not like her at all in real life in any of her previous chapters. She plays the secretary to another girl that Ted is after. So, it will be very unlike any Britney we have seen before." To top off the day Ms Brit has earned herself an allowance and it looks like she is already putting it to good use with some new extensions. The pop star was spotted last night looking clean and fresh but somewhat sad when she headed out for a sushi dinner. It must be weird being a millionaire who once flashed a black Amex card, to all off a sudden have a limited $1,500 a week allowance. Well, at least it's another day in the right direction for Britney.

2Wow...big improvement. Her father seems to be a great influence on her. But she does look a little depressed. If she's bipolar, sometimes it takes awhile to get the perfect dose of medication.
I think going back to her hometown for awhile would be better for her. Less paps.
3I have to say the blue contacts always make a huge difference in her appearance. They make her look friendlier and cuter. Because when I look at her outfit it still looks nasty to me (sorry to say) but the hair/contacts are definitely an improvement. And I'm wondering what's up with her eyebrows? Does she have trichotillomania?
4Her hair looks so much better... but I think after a year she ought to be at the stage where she can flaunt her actual hair rather than extensions.

7she is looking so much better, but yes...depressed. And...after hearing about Kevin and his "$2000 tip and Shar's credit card that Brit pays for" I am re thinking my position on Kevin being in this for the money. I don't doubt he loves those babies, and is the best environment for them right now...and maybe for a long time. But, I do think he is milking Britney and this entire situation. Which is unfortunate.
I also think giving Brit a limit to what she can spend is a good idea...especially until she gets back to her best and gets her legal troubles with custody and all taken care of. I would hate to see her spend every penny because she was messed up and didn't know what she was doing.
Keep it up daddy Spears, you are doing a great job with Britney so far.

17those extensions are a vast improvement. i think that the lighter brown is a better shade than the really dark ones that she's been sporting.
as for the allowance, i know that it's got to be hard for her - but you have to admit that it's smart. when you're young and you have so much money - it's easy to spend it all and end up with nothing. at least now she's got something keeping her responsible about it. i'm sure that she's still got that black amex so no one has to worry.
i can't wait to see her in her role on how i met....

megln1022 - you'd think that her hair would be long enough, but i've had extensions in my hair for 3 years and really - when i take them out, my hairs only a few inches longer than when i started...it's interesting how slow your hair can really grow.
19ok, so I guess it wasnt the nappy extensions that made her look like trash, because those extensions look better..but she still looks like trash. Im not sure Im buying the pregnancy...I think shes just putting on some wieght. Its not surprise to anyone that Britneys wieght fluxuates often, so why is it so surprising to see her sporting a bit of a gut...it goes perfectly with her greasy face.
20Ilanac-its not that your hair has only grown a few inches in 3 years. Extensions are really bad for your hair (ive watched friends take them out before and it ripped chunks of her real hair out too, and everything that they didnt rip out, was completely fried) As much as britney changes her extensions Im not surpised that her hair hasnt grown back yet.

28Faery,I can't say I'm upset about Kevin's spending. It sounds like the money wouldn't have been spent better if it had been in Britney's hands either. Britney should have had more control of her money but then again she was spending money herself for crazy reasons, like buying new cars at random if one she already owned had issues that could easily be fixed or staying at hotels when she owns two homes ,etc. Sure, it's her money but imagine how many people she could have helped with the amount of money she spent for a night at expensive hotels when her home isn't even that far away. I'm still on the fence about Britney cause she's being forced get to help and that won't work unless the person wants to get better.It may appear to work for a short time but once they gain control, they can easily go back to the bad behavior.

45I had a friend FRESHMAN year of HIGH SCHOOL that wore one green contact and one blue...but I'm sure, now that she's an adult, that such things just don't entertain her much anymore!!!
But since you know Spears had the mental capacity of a 14 year old, I'm pretty sure that contact "trick" is the highlight of her daze!!!

I was just a poor college student with terrible eyesight so I could not wear disposables if I wanted color so when one tore couldn't afford to get another one.
Speaking of two different color eyes here's a fun fact:
There is no genetic trait for two different color eyes. It is actually a result of head trama a birth for some people or at some point during their lives. I read that once a long time ago and found it fascinating, it's usually my fun fact for mingling at dinner parties lol
