The Beckhams may love their new BFF's Tom and Katie but don't look for them to pick up Scientology anytime soon. Tom has evidently been trying to get David to join his religion but apparently Victoria has put her foot down. Posh would rather spend her money on her new home, boys and shopping habits then donate it to a religion. Here's more:
A source close to the Beckhams said: “Tom spoke to David for hours about Scientology. He feels it could help to lift him out of the blues over his football career.
“But Victoria is having none of it. She can’t see the point of joining something like that where you have to donate money.”
Yeah, why spend your money to get to Operating Thetan Level VII when you can shop your heart out on Robertson Boulevard? We love that Posh is sticking to her guns on this one.

She is smarter than people think. Its not really "donating" to Scientology, you have
to PAY to be a member & the more you dish out, like hundreds of thousands, the higher you go. you have to pay for all those "auditing sessions"
7I love her outfit here. I'd actually WEAR this outfit! Most of her ensembles are pretty cool but WAAAAAY too extreme for me.
8This is the best thing she can do. Maybe after spending some time here she now realizes what a joke Tom, Zombie and Scientology is, and if she and her husband are to be treated with any respect and build a larger fan base they will have to distance themselves from the freak show.

20Good for her. Religion isn't pay as you go. Even though parishoners and congregations donate a certain amount of money for church and temple, it's not required and with scientology, it is. I give money to my parish(which was spared closing but merged with another parish announced this morning) because I WANT to and it's the right thing to do to keep the parish going, not because someone told me I can't have my religion if I don't pay for it.

27honestly, then why are the Cruises' so interested in them? Tom does not put much time into anyone that is not a scientologist. I have a feeling that Tom thought he may have had them, now if they do not join in, I guarantee that friendship will not last.

34I think she's very smart. Other churches expect a tithe, or some small donation from their congregation, but a PAID membership? That sounds more like a gym than a church.
