With the Spears family seemingly on the upswing and both girls lined up for high profile guest starring spots on sitcoms, sometimes I forget that Miss Jamie Lynn Spears is about to be a mom. She and a friend were spotted in Kentwood this week grabbing some coffee beverages enjoying the warmish weather. You can still hardly see Jamie Lynn's baby bump under that flowy shirt, but there is so still another Spears baby on the way. At least JL's finally got a smile on her face.

6The lightbulb really came on for me when JL got pregnant. At first I just thought that Britters was a whackadoodle, but when JL started following in her sisters footsteps then it all became apparent that they are just a family full of whackadoodles. Poor babies, hopefully JL will be a better parent than her sister, but I'm sure she'll be able to hire the nanny's that can raise her young'un for her.

13Actually, I believe you can have moderate amounts of caffeine when you're pregnant and it won't affect the baby.
But we have no idea if she's drinking coffee...hey that could be hot chocolate!

Yes, pregnant women can have moderate amounts of caffeine unless instructed otherwise by their OBs. Yes, coffee shops sell products which do not contain caffeine. Amazing, I know.

22that's funny, synshine...i guess sort of...in the mouth/eyes? anyway, i'm pretty traumatized now that i've read this post and find out that when pregnant i would have to moderate my caffeine intake...aka limit my ridiculous chocolate intake? and did nobody else see the uggs/parka and cut-off shorts? that's all.
23So because she has left her house and is smiling she has forgotten she's pregnant. That is probably pretty hard to do. Is she supposed to stay inside and cry all day? She is not in an ideal situation but you have to make the best of what you have. If that means she is accepting this pregnancy and looking forward to it than more power to her. There are many young girls who become pregnant and go on to leave normal and successful lives; just because her sister has problems doesn't mean she will. However shorts and uggs are a very bad choice

30Just like Ash Simpson, the younger daughter is way hotter. But man, there are ways to stop teen pregnancies! Even if you don't believe in abortion, Mama Spears should put birth control in their oatmeal in the morning or something. So trashy. And do they live in this fashion black hole that makes them think ugly boots are cool? So many wrong things going on with this family, it's just unbelievable!

32I love Jamie Lynn! she's so cute and who knows if she's drinking caffeine or not? There are teas and other decaf beverages you can get from coffee shops... & there are tons of pregnant teens all over the country, who go on to be happy and successful. It's just because of her older sis that she's getting such a bad rap about it. My older brother is a loser sometimes but I'm nothing like him! I see his mistakes as a lesson. 33XpsX - yes, that is normal for many women. It was normal for my case as well. In fact, I was built exactly like J-L Spears. I had hips that were already wide, larger breasts (put those 2 things together and it'll make your waist look smaller) and nice tight abdominal muscles that held everything in for quite a while. 6 months was when other people started to see I was pregnant. To my family I was "showing" before that because they were used to me being a certain way.
I'm happy to see that she's happy! If there was ever a teen mom with every resource to help her take care of her baby - it's her. Most teen moms aren't millionaires who are set for life. Talk about the odds (of being successful) being in your favor.
34I'm not a big fan of UGGs either, especially with shorts, but when i was pregnant thats all i could wear. My feet were super swollen, they started to swell before i even really started showing. I always joked that my feet were bigger than my belly. So UGGS saved me, or else i'd have to be barefoot!
35i guess that's how a lot of high schoolers hide the fact that they are preggo - since it doesn't really look like she's pregs...but then again, it's not like she's walking a red carpet and that's how we're usually able to see how preggo stars are. i hope that thigns are going well for them, and i really hpe she's not drinking coffee - it's probably not the healthiest for her while she's 'with child'.

40So teen pregnancy is not ideal, but she is trying to make an effort to not be caught in the terrible problems that her situation could bring her too.
She graduated and wants to go to school. I actually enjoy seeing these pictures because she looks to have a great support system and a good head on her shoulders; what more can we ask for?

42i can somewhat relate to her i WAS a teen parent it was scary, embarassing at the time, so i see why she may hide her tummy but i too didnt show till late 7 months early 8 months, now my daughter is my world love her to desth wouldnt have it any other way maybe the timing i guess, oh and i dont have her fame, and would never drink coffee if that is what it is,

45I was not a teen pregnancy but I was young 21 and not married. My daughter's grandmother did not want me to have a babyshower. I was not proud of it but it happened and I love my daughter and wanted the world to know it
