Many have been wondering why Angelina was acting so cold at the Golden Globes. In fact, red carpet interviewer Ryan Seacrest was shocked at Angelina's behavior when he attempted to ask her a few questions before the show (if you missed it, check out Ryan's interview with Brad and Angie below). He voiced his opinions about the incident on his KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday morning. Here's highlights:
- “I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,” he complained. “I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it.”
- The host went on to praise the actress for her charity work, but complained about her dour expression on the red carpet: “I think doing good is fantastic. A lot of people are benefiting around the world from their doing of all of these nobles things. But smile."
We know that the celebs must hate saying the same thing over and over on the red carpet, but they are there to plug themselves and their work so they are supposed to be prepared to talk talk talk. Who knows, maybe something happened before they got to Ryan so Angie was just not in the mood.

I don't really see the big deal here?? She answered him when he gave her direct questions, and I think she was just trying to let Brad talk since it was his film that was up, not anything of hers. Seacrest is trying to make a big story out of nothing, imho.

4I agree Lil....all the questions should have been Brad's. He did the same thing when it was her turn for The Good Shephard. Maybe she could've said it though, like "Oh it's Brad's night..I'm just here to support him." Or something like that. But I don't think she was being b*tchy.

7I'm on Angelina's side here (my first time ever!). Ryan is annoying and he was asking her very personal questions. He is very two faced. He kisses her ass on the red carpet but then trash talks her on his radio show. He acts like they are good friends or something. He should have taken the hint that she didn't want to talk, and focused on Brad. When are Ryan's 15 minutes going to be up? Not that he's a star, or anything.

There are comments from real news agencies (sorry E! you're not real news) making fun of his red carpet interviews and he knows it and now he's embarrassed. Brad and Angie were interviewed by other entertainment shows that night and no one else has a problem with her so I'm going to make a wild guess and say the problem is Ryan.

13I don't see a snub...? This is not her milieu. She looks vibrant and alive when she's with her kids or hanging out with regular people in whatever country they happen to be in. She looks bored and kind of uncomfortable making small talk with tabloid interviewers. So what? That's one of the things I love about her.

My take is that if you're going to walk the red carpet with Brad Pitt and you've been all over the media gushing about him and your family, you should know that cameras and microphones are going to be in your face.
She's an actress so she should've been able to fake that 30 minutes, even if just for her man. Or else she should've just stayed home.

23Lira, I completely agree. I don't care if she was nominated or not, she is a public figure. She doesn't have to steal the spotlight but she needs to learn how to be polite. She could have smiled and said "I'm just going to sit back and let Brad answer the question tonight." OR she didn't even need to walk the carpet. He could have met her inside. Doing absolutely his best to remain relevant and in the news, Ryan Seacrest lashed out at Angelina Jolie on his L.A.-based radio show Wednesday morning for not fawning all over him during their interview prior to the Golden Globes on Monday night.
Per Whiny McWhinerson:
“I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me…I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions.”
Well, which is it? Did you ask her four questions or “a couple?” And I guess he was going by the interview that was playing in his head, because tapes of the interview clearly show Angie answering Seacrest—obviously just not to his satisfaction. Then, again, how is one supposed to get giddy over such in-depth questions as “what did you have for breakfast this morning?”
Clearly thinking he can straddle both sides of the publicity fence, the American Idol host was quick to point out that “Brad was fantastic.” Yeah, I’m sure he’s happy with you, too, given the way you’re flapping your piehole about how mean his girlfriend was to you. I’m sure that put you back in his good books.
Seacrest’s radio co-host, Ellen K, came to Jolie’s defense, saying:
“Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money.”
To which the big baby snapped:
“Well then, don’t go…Don’t do. Don’t go support your man. Do go.”
And had that happened I’m sure today’s broadcast would have been about the rampant rumors of a breakup.

48There's nothing that Angelina Jolie could do to please some and so why continue the suggestions of what she should do? If she did take the offered advice, trust that as certain as the sky is above, and the earth below, those same advice givers would then ask "why did she do that?" I get that it's about excercising ones right to add a pov; I get that, but why act as if there's something she could come up with that would change what is an etched in stone stance? Also, Angelina Jolie earned her stripes just as I'm sure Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston and the numorous other celebrities out there who happen to share the same career as their parents.
