Jen, Ben and baby Violet went to the eye doctor in Santa Monica yesterday. The happy family is so normal but we just can't get enough of them. Little Violet is just so precious. Jen recently spoke about how much she loves being a mother and how beautiful it is to watch Ben with their daughter. Jen has learned other lessons as well. She told People, "I was rocking her, and she was fascinated by the light hitting the ceiling. I thought, 'God, for the past five years, I haven't stopped to look at light on the ceiling for (one) second.' To slow down and go at her pace has been such a gift."

5They are so cute, and their values don't seem to be just for show. They actually practice what they preach. They really go out of their way to protect their daughter and live as good examples for her.

14What a cute family, I love Violet, she's adorable! Jennifer is totally right, too. Kids go at a different pace than the rest of the world, and it's so fun to slow down and watch them and be part of their world. They look at everything so differently. I wonder at what age that changes.

17Clara, sadly the reason there are so many of these blogs that we all love and the paps out there to stalk these celeb's is because the demand is high. If we didn't love to see what our celebs were up to, these pics and sites wouldn't be so prolific. But we all clicked on the link to see what the Afflecks were up to, so we really drive the stalkerazzi. But we love us the blogs and pics.

I hate myself for even bringing it up - it's so superficial - I know she's got a kid to look after. But those shoes just look ick.

while i love the 'normalness' of the affleck-garner family, i don't think violet is cute at all. i positively adore her name, however! but she's just not a good-looking little baby to me. when i see her, all i can think is that she reminds me of the little boy from the original movie "The Omen." i think it is her eyes. she doesn't freak me out, but i do not think she's cute for one second. i think she's going to be one of those children who gets more beautiful as she gets older.
it makes me sad that they can't even take her in for an appointment without having to walk around the paps. i can't even fathom what that's like for them.
32Violet is one of the UGLIEST babies I have ever seen. Just because you like her parents (and yes they do seem sweet)doesn't mean you have to think the kid is cute. Be honest , not every baby is cute and this one just is horribly ugly! Maybe with some luck she will be a good looking adult like her parents but as for now she is NOT!

I do think Violet is an adorable little girl (and will probably be striking as an adult) and that doesn't have anything to do with whether or not I like her parents (and I do). THere are other celeb parents who I like very much but think their babies inherited the unfortunate end of the gene pool (a couple of poor things looks just like their ugly daddy not pretty mama)but when I see their picture I just keep going and would never stop to make the comment the kid is ugly. I mean why be mean?
